Claims (7)
- 네마틱 액정과, 상기 네마틱 액정을 사이에 둔 2개의 전극으로 구성된 각 화소에 화상을 표시하는 1매의 액정패널과, 상기 액정패널에 결합되고 예정된 타이밍에 점멸되는 조명수단을 포함하고, 상기 2매의 전극 사이에 계조데이터에 기초한 전압을 인가함으로써 표시를 행하는 액정표시장치의 액정 고속 구동방법에 있어서,상기 2개의 전극 사이에 상기 계조데이터에 기초한 전압과 다른, 상기 계조데이터와는 무관한 예정된 전압을 예정된 주기마다 예정된 시간동안 인가하고,상기 조명수단을 소등시키는 타이밍이 상기 예정된 전압을 상기 액정에 인가하는 타이밍에 일치시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 계조데이터와는 무관한 예정된 전압이, 상기 예정된 시간동안 일정한 값으로 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 계조데이터와는 무관한 예정된 전압이, 절대치가 상이한 복수의 예정된 전압값을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
- 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 예정된 전압의 절대치는, 상기 계조데이터에 기초한 전압의 절대치의 범위중 최대치와 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
- 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 복수의 예정된 전압값의 절대치 중 적어도 하나의 절대치가, 상기 계조데이터에 기초한 전압의 절대치의 범위중 최대치와 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
- 청구항 1 내지 5 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 조명수단이 적, 녹, 청의 3색의 광원을 포함하고, 상기 적, 녹, 청의 각 광원이 순차점멸하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
- 청구항 1 내지 3 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 액정이 TN액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 고속 구동방법.
