Description
Claims (13)
- 저압 가스 방전 램프(low-pressure gas discharge lamp)에 있어서,방전관(a discharge vessel)(1)과,적어도 두 개의 공간적으로 분리된 용량성 커플링-인 구조물(coupling-in structures)(2)을 포함하되,상기 저압 가스 방전 램프는 동작 주파수 f에서 동작하며,상기 용량성 커플링-인 구조물(2) 각각은 두께 d와 유전상수 ε을 갖는 적어도 하나의 유전체로 형성되며, 상기 유전체 각각은 조건 d/(f·ε)<10-8㎝·s를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 적어도 하나의 유전체는 조건 d/(f·ε)>10-9㎝·s를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 동작 주파수 f는 150㎐ 내지 1㎒의 범위를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유전체의 유전상수는 네가티브 온도 의존성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 방전관(1)은 10㎜보다 작은 내경 di를 갖는 공동의(hollow) 실린더로서 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 용량성 커플링-인 구조물(2)은 내경 di를 갖는 공동의 실린더로서 형성되며, 방전관(1)에 내압적으로(in a compression proof manner) 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 방전관(1)은 적어도 하나의 불활성 가스를 함유하는 충진 가스로 채워지는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 충진 가스는 수은을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 동작 주파수 f는 150㎐ 이상 150㎑ 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 가스 방전의 방전 전류는 10㎃를 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 유전체는 의사유전성(paraelectric), 강유전성 또는 반 강유전성 고체 재료로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 방전관(1)은 UV 투명 재료로 구성되며, UV를 방출하는 충진 가스로 채워지는 것을 특징으로 하는 저압 가스 방전 램프.
- 액정 디스플레이의 백라이팅용 장치에 있어서,광원(10)으로서, 동작 주파수 f에서 동작하며, 방전관(1) 및 적어도 두 개의 용량성 커플링-인 구조물(2)을 갖는 적어도 하나의 저압 가스 방전 램프와,백라이팅을 생성하기 위한 광학 시스템(13, 14, 15)를 포함하되,상기 각 용량성 커플링-인 구조물(2)은 두께 d와 유전상수 ε을 갖는 적어도 하나의 유전체로 구성되며, 상기 각 유전체는 조건 d/(f·ε)<10-8㎝·s를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이의 백라이팅용 장치.
