Claims (4)
- 입력 영상을 소정 크기의 매트릭스 형태로 이산 여현 변환 및 양자화시킨 값을 1차원으로 배열하는 더블 스캔 방법에 있어서,상기 입력 영상을 소정 화소 크기의 블록으로 나눈 다음 인트라/인터 블록으로 구분하고 그 인트라 블록에 대해 인트라 예측을 행하되, 현재의 인트라 블록이 인접해 있는 화소들중에서 어느 방향의 화소와 유사한지를 예측하기 위하여 인트라 예측 모드를 결정하는 제 1과정; 및상기 결정된 인트라 예측 모드에 해당하는 스캔 맵을 선택하고 그 선택된 스캔 맵의 형태로 상기 양자화시킨 값을 더블 스캔하는 제 2과정을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 적응적 더블 스캔 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 결정가능한 인트라 예측 모드는 직류 예측 모드, 수직 예측 모드, 수평 예측 모드, 대각선 예측 모드, 및 수직 또는 수평에 근접한 예측 모드중에서 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 적응적 더블 스캔 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 선택가능한 스캔 맵은 TML 5.91에서 정의한 제 1 더블 스캔 맵 및, 상기 제 1 더블 스캔 맵과 상이한 에너지 분포도를 갖는 제 2 더블 스캔 맵으로 구성 되고,상기 제 2 더블 스캔 맵의 형태는, 4×4인 {{a11,a12,a13,a14},{a21,a22,a23 ,a24},{a31,a32,a33,a34},{a41,a 42,a43,a44}}={{0,0,1,4},{1,2,3,5},{2,3,4,6},{5,6,7,7}} 매트릭스에서, a11→a21→a31→a32→a 33→a41→a42→a43 의 순서와, a12→a13→a22→a23→a14→a24→a 34→a44 의 순서로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 적응적 더블 스캔 방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 제 2 더블 스캔 맵은 상기 수직 예측 모드 또는 수평 예측 모드가 결정되는 경우에 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 적응적 더블 스캔 방법.
