Abstract
Description
이 효과는 예를 들면 120Hz의 높은 하한 주파수를 갖는 정성적으로 간단한 스피커가 예를 들면 60Hz의 신호를 송신한다고 가정될 때 이용된다. 그러면 차이가 총 60Hz인 60Hz 신호의 고조파를 생성한다. 그러면 청취자는 비록 60Hz 톤이 스피커에 의해 전혀 방출되지 않더라도 실제로 60Hz 톤을 듣고 있다고 생각한다.
Claims (14)
- 음성 입력 신호에 응답해서 상기 음성 입력 신호 내의 주된 기본 주파수(dominant fundamental frequency) 성분을 결정하고 상기 주된 기본 주파수 성분을 나타내는 필터된 음성 신호를 제공하는 필터링 장치;상기 필터된 음성 신호에 응답해서 상기 주된 기본 주파수의 고조파 주파수 성분을 생성하고 상기 고조파 주파수 성분을 나타내는 비선형 유닛 출력 신호를 제공하는 비선형 유닛;상기 비선형 유닛 출력 신호에 응답해서 제1 대역 통과 필터된 신호를 제공하는 제1 대역 통과 필터; 및상기 음성 입력 신호 및 상기 제1 대역 통과 필터된 신호를 가산해서 상기 주된 기본 주파수 성분의 고조파를 포함하는 시스템 출력 신호를 제공하는 가산기를 포함하는 음성 신호에서 고조파를 생성하는 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 비선형 유닛은 상기 필터된 음성 신호를 제곱하고(squaring) 상기 비선형 출력 신호를 제공하는 수단을 포함하는 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 비선형 유닛은 상기 필터된 음성 출력 신호에 응답해서 상기 필터된 음성 신호를 정수로 거듭제곱(power)하는 수단을 포함하는 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 필터링 장치는상기 음성 입력 신호에 응답해서 제1 필터된 신호를 제공하는 제1 저역 통과 필터;상기 제1 필터된 신호 및 명령 신호에 응답하는 조정가능한 제2 저역 통과 필터 - 상기 명령 신호는, 제2 필터된 신호를 제공하는 상기 조정가능한 제2 저역 통과 필터의 브레이크 주파수를 설정함 -;상기 제2 필터된 신호에 응답해서 상기 필터된 음성 신호를 나타내는 신호를 제공하는 고역 통과 필터를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 조정가능한 제2 저역 통과 필터는 상기 제1 필터된 신호 및 상기 제2 필터된 신호에 응답해서 상기 명령 신호를 결정하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 명령 신호를 결정하기 위한 수단은 상기 제1 및 제2 필터된 신호들을 비교하기 위한 비교기를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제1 대역 통과 필터는 상기 명령 신호에 응답해서 상기 제1 대역 통과필터의 통과 대역의 중심 주파수를 설정하는 시스템.
