Description
Claims (25)
- 통신 네트워크에서 트래픽의 부하 밸런싱(load balance traffic) 방법에 있어서,액세스 포인트에서, 상기 액세스 포인트와 관련된 각각의 클라이언트 디바이스에 의해 사용되는 평균 대역폭, 각각의 클라이언트 디바이스의 신원, 각각의 클라이언트 디바이스에 할당된 IP 어드레스, 각각의 클라이언트 디바이스에 대한 신호 강도, 총 대역폭 사용량이 기록되는 서브필드, 및 총 대역폭 사용량이 미리 정한 임계값을 초과하는 경우에 가동되는 플래그를 리스팅한 테이블을 동적으로 생성하고 유지하는 단계와,상기 클라이언트 디바이스 각각의 대역폭 사용량을 상기 테이블에서 모니터링하는 단계와,상기 액세스 포인트에서의 총 대역폭 사용량이 상기 미리 정한 임계값을 초과하는 경우, 적어도 하나의 클라이언트를 상기 액세스 포인트로부터 접속 해제시키는 단계를 포함하는 트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.

- 청구항 7은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.제 6 항에 있어서,상기 미리 정한 임계값은 상기 네트워크 상의 추가 용량이 클라이언트 디바이스 동작의 버스트들(bursts)을 조정(handle)할 수 있게 하도록 설정되는트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 접속 해제 단계는, 접속 해제시킬 적어도 하나의 클라이언트를 결정하는 단계와, 패킷 재분배 요청을 생성하는 단계와, 상기 패킷 재분배 요청을 적어도 하나의 액세스 포인트에 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 청구항 9은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.제 8 항에 있어서,상기 패킷 재분배 요청은 상기 적어도 하나의 클라이언트의 신원, IP 어드레스, 신호 강도 및 평균 대역폭 사용량을 포함하는트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 청구항 10은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.제 9 항에 있어서,상기 패킷 재분배 요청에 대한 응답 패킷을 수신하는 단계와,상기 응답 패킷을 분석하는 단계와,상기 응답 패킷이 적어도 하나의 액세스 포인트가 재분배 요청을 수용하는 것으로 지시하는 경우, 상기 적어도 하나의 클라이언트에게 로밍을 강제하도록 알리는 단계를 더 포함하는 트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액세스 포인트에서 패킷 재분배 요청을 수신하는 단계와,상기 액세스 포인트가 초과 용량(excess capacity)을 갖고 있는지 판정하는 단계와,상기 액세스 포인트가 초과 용량을 갖고 있다면 상기 요청을 수용하는 단계를 포함하는 트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 청구항 12은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.제 11 항에 있어서,상기 패킷 재분배 요청에서 식별된 클라이언트 디바이스가 상기 액세스 포인트의 범위 내에 있는지 판정하는 단계와,상기 액세스 포인트가 상기 클라이언트 디바이스를 수용할 수 있는지 판정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 청구항 13은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.제 12 항에 있어서,제 12 항의 두 판정 단계에서 판정 결과가 모두 긍정인 경우에 수용 응답 패킷을 생성하는 단계와,상기 수용 응답 패킷을 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액세스 포인트에서 패킷 재분배 요청을 수신하는 단계와,상기 액세스 포인트가 초과 용량을 갖고 있는지 판정하는 단계와,상기 액세스 포인트가 초과 용량을 갖고 있지 않다면 상기 요청을 거절하는 단계를 포함하는 트래픽 부하 밸런싱 방법.
- 액세스 포인트 장치에 있어서,프로그래밍 가능 프로세서, 상기 프로세서에 동작 가능하게 연결된 메모리,상기 프로세서가 유선 및 무선 LAN을 지원하는 프로그램을 수행하도록 하는 인스트럭션을 가진 펌웨어를 포함하는 프로그램 저장부, 및 상기 프로세서를 제 1 버스 및 제 2 버스에 연결시키는 인터페이스 플로우 컨트롤러를 포함하는 컨트롤러와,무선 LAN 으로의 인터페이스를 제공하는 제 1 어댑터와,유선 LAN 으로의 인터페이스를 제공하는 제 2 어댑터를 포함하되,상기 메모리는, 상기 장치와 통신하는 클라이언트 디바이스의 신원이 기록되는 제 1 서브필드, 상기 클라이언트 디바이스의 IP 어드레스를 기록하는 제 2 서브필드, 상기 클라이언트 디바이스의 신호 강도 정보를 기록하는 제 3 서브필드, 상기 클라이언트 디바이스 각각의 평균 대역폭 사용량을 기록하는 제 4 서브필드, 및 총 대역폭 사용량을 기록하는 제 5 서브필드로 구획된 테이블을 포함하고,상기 제 1 버스는 상기 제 1 어댑터를 상기 컨트롤러에 상호접속시키며, 상기 제 2 버스는 상기 컨트롤러를 상기 제 2 어댑터에 상호접속시키고, 상기 컨트롤러는 상기 장치에서의 상기 총 대역폭 사용량이 미리 정한 임계값을 초과하는 경우에 클라이언트 디바이스를 로밍하게 하는 적어도 하나의 프로그램을 실행하는액세스 포인트 장치.
