Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 방전 디스플레이 패널; 제어부; 상기 제어부로부터의 어드레스 신호를 처리하여 표시 데이터 신호들을 발생시키고, 발생된 표시 데이터 신호들을 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 어드레스 전극 라인들에 인가하는 어드레스 구동부; 및 상기 어드레스 구동부의 전력 회생(recovery) 회로를 포함한 방전 디스플레이 장치에 있어서,상기 전력 회생 회로의 동작 타이밍이 상기 어드레스 전극 라인들에 인가되는 표시 데이터 신호들에 따라 변하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전력 회생 회로의 동작 타이밍이 상기 표시 데이터 신호들에 따른 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 캐페시턴스에 따라 변하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 전력 회생 회로의 동작 타이밍이 턴-온(turn on)될 디스플레이 셀들의 개수에 따라 변하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전력 회생 회로가,상기 표시 데이터 신호의 인가가 종료되는 시점에서 상기 디스플레이 셀들에 불필요하게 남아 있는 전하들을 수집하고, 상기 표시 데이터 신호의 인가가 시작되는 시점에서 상기 수집된 전하들을 상기 디스플레이 셀들에 인가하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 셀들에 불필요하게 남아 있는 전하들을 수집하는 시간이 상기 표시 데이터 신호들에 따른 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 캐페시턴스에 비례하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 셀들에 불필요하게 남아 있는 전하들을 수집하는 시간이 턴-온(turn on)될 디스플레이 셀들의 개수에 비례하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 수집된 전하들을 상기 디스플레이 셀들에 인가하는 시간이 상기 표시 데이터 신호들에 따른 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 캐페시턴스에 비례하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 수집된 전하들을 상기 디스플레이 셀들에 인가하는 시간이 턴-온(turn on)될 디스플레이 셀들의 개수에 비례하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 셀들에 불필요하게 남아 있는 전하들을 수집하는 시간 및 상기 수집된 전하들을 상기 디스플레이 셀들에 인가하는 시간이 상기 표시 데이터 신호들에 따른 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 캐페시턴스에 비례하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 셀들에 불필요하게 남아 있는 전하들을 수집하는 시간 및 상기 수집된 전하들을 상기 디스플레이 셀들에 인가하는 시간이 턴-온(turn on)될 디스플레이 셀들의 개수에 비례하는 방전 디스플레이 장치.
- 방전 디스플레이 패널; 제어부; 상기 제어부로부터의 어드레스 신호를 처리하여 표시 데이터 신호들을 발생시키고, 발생된 표시 데이터 신호들을 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 어드레스 전극 라인들에 인가하는 어드레스 구동부; 및 상기 어드레스 구동부의 전력 회생(recovery) 회로를 포함한 방전 디스플레이 장치의 구동 방법에 있어서,상기 전력 회생 회로의 동작 타이밍이 상기 어드레스 전극 라인들에 인가되는 표시 데이터 신호들에 따라 변하는 방전 디스플레이 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 전력 회생 회로의 동작 타이밍이 상기 표시 데이터 신호들에 따른 상기 방전 디스플레이 패널의 캐페시턴스에 따라 변하는 방전 디스플레이 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 전력 회생 회로의 동작 타이밍이 턴-온(turn on)될 디스플레이 셀들의 개수에 따라 변하는 방전 디스플레이 장치의 구동 방법.
