Claims (4)
- 이동 전화 단말기, 특히 UMTS 이동 전화 단말기에서 출력 신호를 향상시키는 방법으로서,a) 피크 대 평균 전력비를 소정 문턱값(Tclip)으로 감소시키기 위해 상기 신호를 클리핑하는 단계와,b) 상기 클리핑된 신호를 증폭하기 위해 설계된 전력 증폭기(10)에 상기 클리핑된 신호를 제공하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 클리핑된 신호는 증폭되기 전에 필터링되고, 단일 캐리어 클리핑이 적용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호의 각각의 데이터 샘플(Sn)의 전력이 계산되고, 만일 상기 전력이 상기 소정 문턱값(Tclip)을 초과하는 경우 상기 신호는 클리핑되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 디지털 신호 처리 체인을 포함하는 이동 전화 단말기에 있어서,상기 체인은 송신될 신호의 피크 대 평균 전력비를 소정 문턱값(Tclip)으로 감소시키는 클리핑 모듈(5)을 포함하고, 상기 클리핑된 신호를 증폭하기 위해 설계된 상기 이동 전화 단말기의 전력 증폭기(10)로 상기 클리핑된 신호가 공급되며,상기 디지털 처리 체인으로부터 전달된 복소수 디지털 신호를 믹서(7)에게 제공되는 복소수 아날로그 신호로 변환하는 디지털-아날로그 변환기(6)가 포함된 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 전화 단말기.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 이동 전화 단말기는 상기 신호 처리 체인과 상기 전력 증폭기(10) 간에 상기 클리핑된 신호를 필터링하는 필터(9)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 전화 단말기.
