Maskara S.L. 등에 의해 1981년 5월에 기록된 문서 "Concatenated Sequences for Spread Spectrum Systems", IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, US, IEEE, Inc. New York, Vol. AES-17, No. 3은 내부 신호 시퀀스와 외부 신호 시퀀스의 변조 방법을 개시하는데, 이 결과로서 제 3 신호 시퀀스가 생성된다.
Claims (21)
- 이동국(MS)에 기지국(BS)을 동기화하는 방법으로서,상기 기지국은 길이 n의 신호 시퀀스(K(i))를 송신하고,상기 신호 시퀀스는 길이 n2의 제 2 신호 시퀀스 요소(K2(k))를 n1 번 반복하고, 상기 프로세스에서 상기 제 2 신호 시퀀스 요소를 길이 n1의 제 1 신호 시퀀스 요소(K1(j))로 변조시킴으로써 형성될 수 있고,상기 n1은 n2와 동일하고,상기 송신된 신호 시퀀스(K(i))를 상기 이동국 측에서 처리하여 상기 이동국과 기지국을 동기화하는,이동국(MS)에 기지국(BS)을 동기화하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 n은 256이고, 상기 n1은 16이며, 상기 n2는 16인 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 신호 시퀀스(K(i))는 다음의 규칙: K(i) = K2(i mod n2) * K1(i div n2)에 따라 상기 제 2 신호 시퀀스 요소들(K2(k))의 변조에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 신호 시퀀스 요소들(K1(j), K2(k))에 대한 지식(knowledge)이 상기 신호 시퀀스(K(i))를 결정하기 위해 상기 이동국(MS)에서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))에 포함된 미리 결정된 신호 시퀀스(K(i))는 상기 신호 시퀀스(K(i))와, 상기 수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))의 대응하는 섹션들과의 상관 합들(S)을 수행함으로써 상기 이동국에서 결정되고,상기 신호 시퀀스 요소(K2(k))의 부분 상관 합 시퀀스(TS(z))가 상기 수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))의 대응하는 부분들을 사용하여 계산되며,상관 합(S)을 계산하기 위해 상기 부분 상관 합 시퀀스(TS(z))의 n1 요소들이 선택되고, 스칼라 곱으로 상기 신호 시퀀스 요소(K1(j))에 의해 곱해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상관 합(S)을 계산하기 위해 상기 부분 상관 합 시퀀스(TS(z))의 각각의 n2 번째 요소들에서 n1이 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))에 포함된 미리 결정된 신호 시퀀스(K(i))는 상기 신호 시퀀스(K(i))와, 상기 수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))의 대응하는 섹션들과의 상관 합들(S)을 수행함으로써 상기 이동국에서 결정되고,상기 신호 시퀀스 요소(K1(j))의 부분 상관 합 시퀀스(TS(z))가 상기 수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))의 대응하는 요소들을 사용하여 계산되며,상기 부분 상관 합 시퀀스(TS(z))의 n2 요소들은 상관 합(S)을 계산하기 위해서, 스칼라 곱의 의미에서, 상기 신호 시퀀스 요소(K2(k))에 의해 곱해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 수신 신호 시퀀스(E(1))의 각각의 n2 번째 요소들에서 n1이 부분 상관 합(TS)을 계산하기 위해 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 계산된 부분 상관 합들(TS)은 상기 이동국에 저장되고, 추가적인 상관 합(S)을 계산하기 위해 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 동기화 방법.
