- 레이저 광 빔을 사용한 고속 기록용의 재기록가능하며, 복수의 층으로 구성된 적층체를 지닌 기판을 구비하고, 이 적층체가 제 1 유전층과, Ge, Sb 및 Te로 구성된 합금을 포함하는 상변화 물질의 기록층과, 제 2 유전층과, 금속 거울층을 이 기재순으로 구비한 광 정보매체에 있어서,- 상기 합금은 원자 백분율로 3상 조성도 Ge-Sb-Te 내부의 영역에 의해 정의된 조성을 갖고, 상기 영역은 다음의 꼭지점을 갖는 5각형 형태를 지니며:Ge24.6Sb20.2Te55.2 (A)Ge23.5Sb19.2Te57.3 (B)Ge20.5Sb20.5Te59.0 (C)Ge18.8Sb22.6Te58.6 (D)Ge20.1Sb23.7Te56.2 (E),- 제 1 유전층은 70 내지 (70+λ/2n) nm의 두께를 갖고,이때 λ는 레이저 광 빔의 파장이며, n은 이 층의 굴절률이고,- 기록층은 10 내지 35 nm의 두께를 가지며,- 제 2 유전층은 10 내지 50 nm의 두께를 갖고,- 금속 거울층은 60 내지 160 nm의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,합금은 다음의 조성을 갖고,(Ge2Sb2Te5)1-xTex, 이때, 몰분율 x는,0.01≤x≤0.43, 바람직하게는 0.02≤x≤0.35를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,기록층은 20 내지 35 nm의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 2 유전층은 20 내지 40 nm의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,금속 거울층은 80 내지 120 nm의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,금속 거울층은, Al, Ti, Au, Ag, Cu, Pt, Pd, Ni, Cr, Mo, W 및 Ta과 이들 금속의 합금으로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 금속들 중에서 적어도 한 개를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,기판은 디스크 또는 테이프인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 제 1항에 있어서,기록층은 2 내지 8 nm의 두께를 갖는 2개의 추가적인 탄화물층 사이에 삽입된 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
- 레이저 광 빔과 광 정보매체 사이의 상대속도가 최소한 7.2 m/s이고, 선행하는 청구항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 광 정보매체를 사용하여 고속 기록을 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,기록층은 25 내지 35 nm의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 정보매체.
