Claims (10)
- 입력영상의 (m,n)번째 화소의 입력계조값을 복수의 문턱값들에 의해 나누어진 구간에 따라 양자화하되, 중간값보다 어두운 구간 중 적어도 하나의 구간에서는 소정 방식에 의해 상기 입력계조값을 중간값보다 밝은 소정의 계조값으로 양자화하여 상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 이진계조값을 결정하는 단계;상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 입력계조값과 상기 이진계조값 사이의 오차값을 구하는 단계; 및상기 오차값을 소정의 오차확산계수에 따라 상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 주변화소들로 전파하여 상기 주변화소의 입력계조값들을 수정하는 단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 중간값보다 밝은 소정의 계조값인 B는 가장 밝은 계조값인 bo인 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 소정의 오차확산계수는 플로이드-스텐베르그(Floyd-Steinberg) 오차필터에 의해 정해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 문턱값들은 적어도 3개 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리방법.
- 입력영상의 (m,n)번째 화소의 입력계조값과 상기 (m,n)번째 화소에 대하여 소정의 오차확산계수에 따라 전파되어진 오차값들을 합산하여 상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 입력계조값을 수정하는 가산부;상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 수정된 입력계조값을 복수의 문턱값들에 의해 나누어진 구간에 따라 양자화하되, 중간값보다 어두운 구간 중 적어도 하나의 구간에서는 소정 방식에 의해 상기 입력계조값을 중간값보다 밝은 계조값으로 양자화하여 상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 이진계조값으로 출력하는 양자화부;상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 수정된 입력계조값과 이진계조값 사이의 오차값을 구하는 감산부; 및상기 감산부에 의해 구해진 오차값을 소정의 오차확산계수에 따라 상기 (m,n)번째 화소의 주변화소들로 전파하는 오차확산필터; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 중간값보다 밝은 소정의 계조값인 B는 가장 밝은 계조값인 bo인 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 오차확산필터는 플로이드-스텐베르그(Floyd-Steinberg) 오차필터인 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 문턱값은 적어도 3개 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 오차확산 처리장치.
