Claims (28)
- a) 다수의 폴리머 바인더 입자 및b) 상기 폴리머 바인더 입자들 외부표면상에 코팅되는 하나 이상의 시각 개선 첨가제를 포함하는 코팅 물질을 포함하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질이 하나 이상의 전하 조절제 (charge control agent) 또는 전하 디렉터 (charge director)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질이 하나 이상의 유동화제 (flow agent)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리머 바인더 입자들이 랜덤 폴리머들로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리머 바인더 입자들이 하나 이상의 S 물질 부분들 또는 하나 이상의 D 물질 부분들을 포함하는 하나 이상의 양쪽성 그래프트 공중합체를 포함하는 폴리머 바인더로부터 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질에 대한 상기 바인더 입자의 중량비가 50:1 내지 1:1인 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 상기 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질에 대한 상기 바인더 입자의 중량비가 20:1 내지 5:1인 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질이 자성 (magnetic)인 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리머 바인더 입자가 자성인 것을 특징으로 하는 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자.
- 제1항의 양으로 대전된 다수의 토너 입자들을 포함하는 건식 양전하 전자기록 토너 조성물.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 조성물이 자성 물질 (magnetic material)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 건식 양전하 전자기록 토너 조성물.
- a) 30ml 미만의 카우리-부탄올 (Kauri-Butanol) 수치를 갖는 액체 캐리어; 및b) 상기 액체 캐리어 중에 분산된, 제1항의 양으로 대전된 다수의 토너 입자들;을 포함하는 습식 양전하 전자기록 토너 조성물.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 조성물이 자성 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 습식 양전하 전자기록 토너 조성물.
- a) 코팅 물질 및 폴리머 바인더 입자의 혼합물을 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 코팅 물질이 시각 개선 첨가제를 포함하고, 상기 혼합물이 자기 요소들 (magnetic elements)을 포함하는 단계;b) 상기 혼합물을 시간에 따라 방향이 변하는 자기장에 노출되는 단계로서, 이에 의하여 자기장 중에서 상기 자기 요소의 운동은 상기 코팅 물질이 폴리머 바인더 입자의 표면에 부착되어 양으로 대전 코팅된 토너 입자를 형성하기에 충분한 힘을 제공하는 단계;를 포함하는 시각 개선 첨가제를 폴리머 바인더 입자에 부착하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 자기장이 진동 자기장 (oscillating magnetic field)인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 진동 자기장이 이극성 (bipolar) 진동 자기장인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 자기장의 진동이 꾸준하고, 중단되지 않은 리듬인 것 을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 코팅 물질 및 폴리머 바인더 입자들의 상기 혼합물이 유동화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 폴리머 바인더 입자가 자기 요소인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질이 자기 요소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 자기 요소가 코팅 물질 및 폴리머 바인더 입자로부터 독립된 별도의 입자인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 코팅 물질이 건식 입자의 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
