Abstract
Description
소정 칩의 표면에 상기 m×m 센서어레이를 형성하고, 그 하부의 내층에 마이크로프로세서, 캐시메모리, 플래쉬메모리, 버스 및 버스인터페이스를 다층으로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Claims (4)
- 지문이 접촉되면 지문의 융선과 고랑이 구분하여 디지털 전기 신호로 출력하는 센서어레이;상기 센서어레이로부터 출력 신호가 발생되면, 상기 출력신호를 읽어들여 플래쉬메모리에 저장시킨 후 지문 인식 알고리즘에 따라서, 상기 저장된 지문이미지의 특징점을 추출하여 등록된 기준 지문 이미지와 비교하여 일치여부를 판단하는 마이크로프로세서;상기 마이크로프로세서의 처리속도가 향상되도록 마이크로프로세서에 직접 연결되어 마이크로프로세서의 오퍼레이팅, 지문인식 알고리즘의 수행시 자주 요구되는 명령어를 저장하는 캐시메모리;상기 마이크로프로세서에서 수행되는 오퍼레이팅 프로그램, 지문 인식 알고리즘 및 지문데이타를 저장하는 온칩 플래쉬 메모리;상기 센서와 마이크로프로세서와 플래쉬메모리와 캐시메모리간을 연결하는 데이타통로인 버스; 및상기 버스를 통한 데이타 교환을 제어하는 버스 인터페이스를 구비하고,상기 센서어레이와, 마이크로프로세서와, 캐시메모리와, 플래쉬메모리와, 버스와, 버스인터페이스는 단일 칩으로 집적화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단일 칩으로 구현된 지문 인식 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 소정 칩의 표면에 상기 센서어레이를 형성하고, 그 하부의 내층에 마이크로프로세서, 캐시메모리, 플래쉬메모리, 버스 및 버스인터페이스를 다층으로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단일 칩으로 구현된 지문 인식 장치.
