Description
Claims (9)
- 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판;상기 기판 중 어느 한 기판상에 형성되며 인접한 도메인과 서로 다른 배향 방향을 갖는 제 1 배향막;다른 한 기판상에 형성되며 인접한 도메인과 동일한 배향 방향을 갖는 제 2 배향막;상기 제 1 배향막과 제 2 배향막과의 사이에 트위스트 각의 범위가 40∼90°의 범위를 갖고 틸트 각의 범위는 80∼90°의 범위를 갖는 액정층을 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1, 제 2 배향막은 UV배향막인 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 배향막은 유기 또는 무기 배향막이고, 상기 제 1 배향막은 UV배향막인 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 배향막은 러빙처리하고, 상기 제 1 배향막은 UV광을 조사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 배향막은 인접한 도메인과의 배향 방향이 서로 다르도록 2번의 UV광을 조사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 트위스트 각은 액정층에 첨가되는 도펀트 및 상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판 사이의 액정의 배향각을 조절하는 것에 의해 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 트위스트 각은 상기 도펀트의 농도에 의해 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틸트 각은 상기 제 2 기판쪽 액정의 배향 방향을 조절하는 것에 의해 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 HTN모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
