Abstract
Description
공진기(104)에게 동일한 진폭 및 서로에 대해 90도 이격된 위상을 갖는 2개의 신호들이 제공되면, 서로 실질적으로 직교하는 2개의 자성 쌍극자가 상기 접지면 위에서 발생된다. 직교 자성 쌍극자는 원형 편파 방사 패턴을 생성한다.

Claims (18)
- 유전체 물질로 형성되는 제1 공진기;도전성 물질로 형성되며, 상기 제1 공진기가 장착되는 제1 접지면;유전체 물질로 형성되는 제2 공진기;도전성 물질로 형성되며, 상기 제2 공진기가 장착되는 제2 접지면으로서, 상기 제1 및 제2 접지면들은 미리 결정된 거리만큼 서로 이격되는 제2 접지면; 및상기 공진기들 각각의 주위에 대략 90도 만큼 서로 이격되어 상기 공진기들 각각에 전기적으로 커플링되며, 각 공진기에 제1 및 제2 신호를 각각 제공하는 제1 및 제2 프로브를 포함하며,상기 공진기들 각각은 상기 공진기들 사이에서 상이한 미리 결정된 주파수 대역에서 공진하는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 신호들은 실질적으로 동일한 진폭 및 서로에 대해 90도의 위상차를 가지는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 공진기들 각각은 실질적으로 원통형이며 이를 관통하는 중앙축 개구부를 가지는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 프로브는 상기 공진기의 주위에 대략 90도 만큼 이격되어 위치하는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 프로브들은 상기 접지면들에 대해 실질적으로 직교하는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 공진기들 각각은 세라믹 물질로 형성되는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 세라믹 물질의 유전 상수(ετ)는 10 보다 큰 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 세라믹 물질의 유전 상수(ετ)는 45 보다 큰 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 세라믹 물질의 유전 상수(ετ)는 100 보다 큰 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 공진기가 서로 실질적으로 서로에 대해 정렬되도록 소정의 분리 거리만큼 떨어져서 상기 제1 및 제2 접지면을 장착하기 위한 지지 멤버를 더 포함하는 듀얼 밴드 유전체 공진기 안테나.
- 제1 소정 주파수 밴드에서 공진하도록 튜닝되는 제1 안테나부; 및상기 제1 주파수 밴드와는 상이한 제2 소정 주파수 밴드에서 공진하도록 튜닝되는 제2 안테나부를 포함하며,상기 제1 안테나부는도전성 물질로 형성되는 접지면, 상기 접지면에 장착되며 유전체 물질로 형성되며 중심 세로축 개구부를 갖는 유전체 공진기, 및 상기 공진기 각각에 제1 및 제2 신호들을 제공하고 상기 안테나에서 원형 편파 방사를 발생시키기 위해 상기 공진기에 전기적으로 접속되고 서로에 대해 이격된 제1 및 제2 프로브들을 포함하며,상기 제2 안테나부는상기 유전체 공진기의 상기 축 개구부를 통해 연장되면서 개구부와는 전기적으로 절연되는 안테나 멤버를 포함하며, 상기 연장된 안테나 멤버의 세로축은 상기 유전체 공진기의 축과 일치하는 멀티 밴드 안테나.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 연장된 안테나 멤버는 쿼드러필라 나선형 안테나를 포함하는 멀티 밴드 안테나.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 주파수 밴드와는 다른 미리 결정된 제 3 주파수 밴드에서 공진하도록 튜닝되는 제 3 안테나부를 더 포함하며, 상기 제 3 안테나부는 상기 유전체 공진기의 상기 축상 개구부를 통하여 연장되고, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 안테나부와는 전기적으로 절연되며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 안테나부의 세로방향 축과 일치하는 세로축을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티 밴드 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 제 2 안테나부는 쿼드러필라 나선형 안테나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티 밴드 안테나.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 유전체 공진기는 실질적으로 원통형의 형태를 갖는 멀티 밴드 안테나.
