Description
1 is a flowchart showing the operation by the recording double speed setting method of the optical recording and reproducing apparatus of the present invention.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a recording speed setting method of an optical recording / reproducing apparatus. In particular, before recording data on a recording disc, the track's track deviation or focus drop can be recorded by checking the maximum recording speed that can be recorded on the disk and recording at the optimal recording speed. The present invention relates to a recording speed setting method of an optical recording and reproducing apparatus.
When data is to be recorded on a disc through a general optical recording and reproducing apparatus, in determining the recording speed, the user performs test recording in a test & copy mode to check whether the recording has failed.
Here, the test and copy mode does not record the area of the disc on which data is to be recorded at the actual recording power, but performs a recording operation in advance at a double speed set as the reproduction power to determine whether there is an area in which an error occurs. Determine if possible.
In this case, the user directly checks whether an error occurs during the test and copy mode operation, and determines an optimal recording speed, thereby recording data on the disc at a recording speed determined that the error does not occur.
In this case, when the data is written to the disc at the recording speed set by the test and copy mode, the servo is disengaged due to the failure of the disc itself, and the recording often occurs. This problem occurs in the disc at the high speed of 8 times or more. This happens more seriously when recording data.
Therefore, as the data is recorded on the conventional recording disk as described above, the recording fails as the servo leaves the track or the focus drops due to the failure of the recording disk itself at higher speeds. By determining and setting the recording speed of the disc to be recorded by the user, the setting of the recording speed is very troublesome.
Accordingly, the present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems. The present invention is optimized by checking the maximum speed that can be recorded on the disk before recording data on the recording disk, thereby preventing the servo from moving out of the track or focus drop. It is an object of the present invention to provide a recording speed setting method of an optical recording / reproducing apparatus for setting the recording speed.
The present invention for achieving the above object comprises a first step of setting the inspection speed to the highest recording speed; A second step of determining whether or not the servo is in an abnormal state while rotating the disc at the set inspection speed; If the abnormal state of the servo is detected as a result of the determination of the second step, the current inspection speed is set to a low value, and the second step is repeated. If the abnormality of the servo is not found, the inspection speed is set to the highest recording speed. It is characterized by consisting of a third step.
Hereinafter, with reference to Figure 1 attached to the operation and effect for one embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail.
(S2)First, if the user sets the disc check mode to determine whether to check the recording speed suitable for the loaded disc (S1), and if the user does not want to perform the disc check mode, the recording is performed by setting the maximum record speed to the recording speed. (S2)
(S5)However, when the user wants to perform the disc test mode, first, the test speed is set to the highest recording speed (S3), the recording area and the unrecorded area are checked on the disc (S4), and the start of the unrecorded area on the disc is started. The address is searched and moved (S5).
In this case, the disc checking mode may be set manually by the user, or may be set to be automatically performed by the optical recording / reproducing apparatus using a predetermined idle time after the recording disc is inserted.
(S6).Here, when the start address of the moved unrecorded area is the last address of the disc, since there is no more area to record, recording is performed by setting the current inspection speed to the recording speed (S6).
(S8)However, if the moved address is not the final address, the normal play back test is performed from the current moved address (S7) to determine an abnormal state of the servo. (S8)
In this case, the abnormal state of the servo may be determined based on whether the servo is out of track or a focus drop occurs.
Therefore, if the servo abnormal state does not occur until the disc last address, the write operation is performed by setting the current inspection speed to the recording speed to be recorded.
(S10)However, if an abnormal state of the servo occurs during the normal playback check, the address is stored as the servo drop address (S9) and the current check speed is set to a lower recording speed (S10).
Then, after moving back to the stored servo drop address (S11), the normal playback check is performed again from the address moved to the reset recording speed, and thus, the track deviation or the focus drop of the servo does not occur until the final address. If not, the current inspection speed is set to the recording speed.
However, when the abnormal state of the servo occurs again, the inspection double speed is set one level lower to repeat the operation.
As described in detail above, the present invention starts with the highest inspection speed mode and finds the highest speed at which the servo does not go out step by step through the algorithm of the servo track deviation or focus caused by the failure of the recording disk itself at higher speeds. It has the effect of preventing drop.
