- MPEG-TS 전송 장치에 있어서,물리 계층에서 식별하는 프리앰블 및 MAC 계층에서 식별하는 하나 이상의 MPEG-TS 스트림으로 구성된 MPEG-TS 데이터 프레임을 생성하여 출력하는 제1 MII(Media Independent Interface) 인터페이스와, 상기 제1 MII 인터페이스로부터의 데이터 프레임을 수신하여 FX(Fiber Transmission) 전송을 수행하는 제1 이더넷 물리 계층(PHY) 장치를 갖는 송신부와,상기 송신부로부터의 MPEG-TS 데이터 프레임을 수신하여 각 가입자에게 분배하는 백 플레인 보드와,상기 백 플레인 보드로부터 수신된 MPEG-TS 데이터 프레임의 프리앰블을 식별하여 클록을 복원하고 MPEG-TS 데이터 프레임의 하나 이상의 MPEG-TS 스트림을 출력하는 제2 이더넷 물리 계층 장치와, 상기 제2 이더넷 물리 계층 장치로부터 하나 이상의 MPEG-TS 스트림을 수신하여 각 가입자에게 제공하는 제2 MII 인터페이스를 포함하며,상기 제1 MII 인터페이스는 직렬 포맷의 MPEG-TS 데이터를 병렬 포맷의 데이터 프레임으로 변환하여 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MPETG-TS 전송 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2 MII 인터페이스는 상기 제2 이더넷 물리 계층 장치로부터 하나 이상의 MPEG-TS 스트림을 수신하면 병렬 포맷의 데이터를 직렬 포맷의 데이터로 변환하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MPETG-TS 전송 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 MPEG-TS 데이터 프레임은 8Byte의 프리앰블, 하나 이상의 MPEG-TS 전송 스트림 및 그의 패킷 오버헤드 ID를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MPETG-TS 전송 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1 MII 인터페이스는 MPEG-TS 데이터 프레임을 전송하는 동안에 인에이블 신호를 생성하여 제1 이더넷 물리 계층 장치에 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MPETG-TS 전송 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2 이더넷 물리 계층(PHY) 장치는 상기 백 플레인 보드로부터 MPEG-TS 데이터를 수신하는 동안 인에이블 신호를 발생하여 상기 제2 MII 인터페이스에 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 MPETG-TS 전송 장치.
