- 회전축을 가진 설정된 형상으로서, 접합될 부재들 중 하나 이상의 부재와 접촉하여 마찰을 일으키기 위한 돌기가 형성된 몸체; 및상기 몸체에 부착되고 상기 돌기쪽 방향의 상기 몸체 외측으로 자기장을 형성하는 자기장 형성 유닛을 포함하는 용접 공구로서,상기 자기장 형성 유닛은, 영구자석 또는 전자석으로 구성되고, 상기 회전축 둘레로 배열된 복수개의 단위자석을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.

- 제3항에서,상기 복수개의 단위자석은, 인접한 단위자석들이 N극 및 S극이 교번되도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항 또는 제5항에서,상기 각 단위자석은, 그 N극 및 S극이 상기 몸체의 회전축과 평행하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항 또는 제5항에서,상기 몸체는, 상기 복수개의 단위자석 사이를 자기적으로 차폐하는 격벽을 포함하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항 또는 제5항에서,상기 단위자석 주위에는 공기의 유로가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제7항에서,상기 단위자석 주위에는 공기의 유로가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항에서,상기 돌기 또는 몸체는, 고망간강 또는 오스테나이트계 스테인레스 강을 포함하는 소재로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제10항에서,상기 고망간강은 약 15%의 망간함유율을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항에서,상기 영구자석은 ALNICO자석(Al-Ni-Co계), Nd자석(Nd-Fe-B계), 또는 사마륨자석(Sm-Co계)인 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항에서,상기 용접 공구의 상기 돌기측 면은 평면적으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 공구.
- 제3항, 제5항, 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항의 용접 공구; 및상기 용접 공구를 회전시키기 위한 모터를 포함하는 용접 장치.
- 제14항에서,상기 각 단위자석은, 그 N극 및 S극이 상기 몸체의 회전축과 평행하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 장치.
- 제14항에서,상기 몸체는, 상기 복수개의 단위자석 사이를 자기적으로 차폐하는 격벽을 포함하는 용접 장치.
- 제14항에서,상기 단위자석 주위에는 공기의 유로가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 장치.

- 접합부재 맞대기면의 접합부위에 마찰열을 가함과 아울러 자기장변화에 의한 유도전류를 발생시킴으로써 상기 접합부위를 가열하는 접합부위가열단계; 및상기 접합부위를 상기 맞대기면을 따라 이동하는 이동접합단계;를 포함하되,상기 접합부위가열단계는,제3항, 제5항, 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항의 용접 공구를 상기 접합부위에 접촉시킨 상태에서 회전시킴으로써 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 방법.
- 제19항에서,상기 돌기는 상기 접합부위의 맞대기면에 삽입되어 회전하는 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 방법.
- 제20항에서,상기 각 단위자석은, 그 N극 및 S극이 상기 몸체의 회전축과 평행하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 방법.
- 제20항에서,상기 몸체는, 상기 복수개의 단위자석 사이를 자기적으로 차폐하는 격벽을 포함하는 용접 방법.
- 제20항에서,상기 단위자석 주위에는 공기의 유로가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 방법.
