Claims (8)
- i) 공해물질이 포집되어 있는 배기 가스를 도입시키기 위한 주입부, 세정된 배기 가스를 배출시키기 위한 배출부를 가지며, 상기 주입부는 챔버의 한쪽 말단에 배치되어 있고, 배출부는 챔버의 반대편에 배치되어 있으며, 상기 주입부가 상기 배출부로부터 이격되어 있어 이 사이에 제1 및 제2 영역이 구획되어 있는 챔버;ii) 제1 및 제2 영역이 구획되도록 상기 챔버 내에서 서로 이격되어 수평한 관계로 배치되어 있는 제1 및 제2 콘;iii) 상기 제1 및 제2 콘 사이에 구획된 공간에 배치되어 있으며 상기 주입부를 통하여 챔버 내로 도입된 배기 가스가 촉매대를 통하여 원심방향으로 흐르도록 하는 촉매대;iv) 배출부가 제공되어 있는 디퓨저 구획을 갖는 상기 제2 영역;v) 제1 콘에서 상기 디퓨저 구획까지 연장되어 있으며, 챔버 내로 도입된 배출 가스의 제트 효과를 감소시키는 원추형 부재를 포함하는, 엔진의 미관 또는 배기관과 함께 사용하기 위한 촉매 전환장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 콘에 다수의 이격된 구멍이 제1 콘 중의 구멍이 상기 제2 콘이 구멍에 대해 비틀린 관계로 배치되어 있는 촉매 전환장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1 콘의 구멍의 피치가 상기 제2 콘의 구멍의 피치와 상이한 촉매 전환장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 콘 내에 활성 촉매대를 갖도록 상기 구멍이 상기 콘의 길이의 일부만을 따라 제공되어 있는 촉매 전환장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 활성 촉매대를 제외한 상기 제1 및 제2 콘의 벽 표면이 촉매 저장부를 구획하도록 밀폐되어 있는 촉매 전환장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 원추형 부재가 상기 챔버의 배출부로부터 떨어져 이격되어 있는 촉매 전환장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디퓨저 구획이 배출구를 향하여 모이는 벽을 갖는 촉매 전환장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매대가 다수의 공간을 구획하는 스트립을 갖는 촉매 전환장치.
