Claims (6)
- 방송신호이외의 부가신호를 전송하는 대역외채널(OOB:Out Of Band)에 대한 OOB 정보를 가지는 케이블카드가 장착된 디지털 케이블 수신기에 있어서,수신신호의 전송대역 중 상기 대역외채널(OOB)을 통과시키는 대역외필터;통과된 상기 대역외채널(OOB)을 소정개의 주파수대역으로 분할하는 대역분할부;분할된 상기 소정개의 주파수대역 중 상기 부가신호가 실린 주파수대역을 선택하는 대역선택부;상기 선택된 주파수대역내의 상기 부가신호를 소정의 중간주파수신호로 다운컨버팅하는 다운컨버터; 및상기 케이블카드와 상호연동하여 상기 대역선택부 및 상기 다운컨버터를 제어하는 제어부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 케이블 수신기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 수신신호를 소정방식으로 채널디코딩하는 채널 디코더;를 더 포함하며,상기 채널 디코더는, 상기 케이블카드로부터 인터페이스된 상기 OOB 정보를 채널디코딩하고, 채널디코딩된 상기 OOB 정보에 기초하여 상기 대역선택부 및 상기 다운컨버터에 각각의 제어신호를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 케이블 수신기.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 대역분할부는,상기 소정개의 대역필터를 갖으며, 각각의 상기 대역필터의 컷오프(cutoff)주파수는 상호간에 일정주파수대역이 겹치도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 케이블 수신기.
- 방송신호이외의 부가신호를 전송하는 대역외채널(OOB:Out Of Band)에 대한 OOB 정보를 가지는 케이블 카드가 장착된 디지털 케이블 수신기의 부가신호 수신방법에 있어서,(a) 상기 수신신호의 전송대역 중 상기 대역외채널(OOB)을 통과시키는 단계;(b) 상기 대역외채널(OOB)을 소정개의 주파수대역으로 분할하는 단계;(c) 분할된 상기 소정개의 주파수대역 중 상기 부가신호가 실린 주파수대역을 선택하는 단계; 및(d) 상기 선택된 주파수대역내의 상기 부가신호를 소정의 중간주파수신호로 다운컨버팅하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 케이블 수신기의 부가신호 수신방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 케이블카드로부터 인터페이스된 상기 OOB 정보를 소정방식으로 채널디코딩하는 단계;를 더 포함하며,상기 채널디코딩된 OOB 정보에 기초하여, 상기 (c)단계 및 상기 (d)단계의 동작을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 케이블 수신기의 부가신호 수신방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 (b)단계는,상기 소정개의 대역필터에 의해 상기 소정개의 주파수대역으로 분할되며,각각의 상기 대역필터의 컷오프(cutoff) 주파수는 상호간에 일정주파수대역이 겹치도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 케이블 수신기의 부가신호 수신방법.
