Claims (11)
- 회전축(A) 및 기어 챔버(13)를 형성하는 기어 케이스(11)와; 적어도 하나의 입력 기어(17)와 제1 및 제2 출력 기어(23, 25)를 포함하는 상기 기어 챔버(13)내에 배치된 차동 기어 수단과; 함께 회전하도록 상기 기어 케이스(11)에 대한 상기 제1 출력 기어(23)의 회전을 제한하도록 작동할 수 있는 수단과; 캠 및 램프형 엑츄에이터를 포함하는 제1 및 제2 작동판(57, 59)을 포함하는 상기 회전 제한 수단용 작동 수단으로서, 상기 비작동 상태(도 2)로부터 작동 상태로의 상기 제1 및 제2 작동판(57, 59)사이의 상대 회전에 의해 상기 회전 제한 수단이 맞물림 상태로 이동하며, 상기 제2 작동판(59)은 상기 비작동 상태에서, 상기 기어 케이스(11)와 동시 회전하도록 배치된, 상기 회전 제한 수단용 작동 수단과; 상기 제2 작동판(59)에 인접 배치되고, 마찰 수단(83)을 포함하며, 전기 입력 신호(81)에 응답하여 상기 제2 작동판(59)과의 마찰 맞물림 상태로 작동 위치(도 4)로 이동하여, 상기 작동 위치에 대한 상기 작동판의 상대 회전을 일으키는 전자기 엑츄에이터(75)를 포함하는 유형의 차동 기어 메커니즘으로서,(a) 상기 회전 제한 수단은 상기 제1 작동판(57)에 인접 배치되며, 상기 기어 케이스(11)에 대해 회전 불가능하게 고정되고, 상기 기어 케이스에 대해 축방향으로 이동 가능한 잠금 부재(47)를 포함하며;(b) 상기 제1 출력 기어(23)와 회전하도록 고정된 피잠금 부재(43)를 포함하며;(c) 상기 잠금 부재(47) 및 피잠금 부재(43)가 연동하여, 상기 작동판(57, 59)이 상기 작동 상태로 회전할 경우, 상기 부재(47, 43)를 상호 회전 불가능한 상태로 잠금으로써 상기 제1 출력 기어(23)를 상기 기어 케이스(11)에 대해 잠궈주는 수단(43, 49)을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 작동판(57)은 상기 기어 케이스(11)내에 배치되며, 상기 제2 작동판(59)은 상기 기어 케이스(11)의 외측으로 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기어 케이스(11)는 자신에 대한 상기 제2 작동판(59)의 실질적 축방향 이동을 방지하면서 회전 이동을 허용하도록 동작할 수 있는 수단(61, 63)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기어 케이스(11)는 다수의 개구(69)가 형성된 선단벽(71)을 포함하며, 상기 각각의 개구(69)는, 상기 작동판들이 비작동 상태(도 2)에 있는 경우, 상기 제1 및 제2 작동판(57, 59)에 각각 형성된 제1 및 제2 램프면(65, 67)과 원주상으로 일치하도록 배열된 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 작동 수단은, 각 쌍의 상기 제1 및 제2 램프면(65, 67)과 맞물린 상태인 캠 볼(73)을 추가로 포함하며, 각각의 캠 볼(73)은, 상기 기어 케이스(11)의 선단벽(71)에 형성된 상기 개구(69)내에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 잠금 부재(47)는 상기 제1 작동판(57)과 일체로 형성되며, 상기 기어 케이스(11)에는 일련의 내측 스플라인(53)이 형성되고, 상기 제1 작동판(57)에는 상기 내측 스플라인(53)과 맞물리는 일련의 외측 스플라인(51)이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 피잠금 부재(43)는 상기 제1 출력 기어(23)와 일체로 형성되며, 상기 잠금 부재(47) 및 피잠금 부재(43)는 대략 상호 마주보는 관계로 배열된 환형 부재인 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 잠금 수단은, 작동판(57, 59)이 비작동 상태(도 2)일 경우 맞물림이 해제되고, 상기 작동판(57, 59)이 작동 상태(도 4)에 있을 경우 이빨이 맞물림 상태로 되는, 환형으로 배열된 제1 및 제2 기어 이빨(45, 49)이 형성된 상기 잠금 부재(47) 및 피잠금 부재(43)로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 환형으로 배열된 상기 제1 및 제2 기어 이빨(45, 49)에는, 상기 회전축(A)에 대해 대략 직각인 피치면이 형성된 것을 특징으로 한 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전자기 엑츄에이터(75)는, 상기 제2 작동판(59)과 대략 상호 마주보는 관계로 배치되며 양자간에 축방향 공간이 형성된, 고정 상태의, 대략 환형인 전자기 코일(79)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 제2 작동판(59) 및 전자기 코일(79) 사이에 배치된 환형 구동판(85)과, 상기 제2 작동판(59) 및 환형 구동판(85)을 상호 연결시키는 수단(87)을 포함함으로써, 상기 판들은 일체로 회전하지만, 상기 구동판(85)은 상기 축방향 공간내에서 상기 제2 작동판(59)에 대해 축방향으로 자유 이동할 수 있고, 상기 전자기 코일(79)의 마찰면(83)과 맞물리는 것을 특징으로 하는 차동 기어 메커니즘.
