- 구형 활성탄의 제조방법에 있어서,a) ⅰ) 탄소 전구체; 및ⅱ) 소수성 무기물을 혼합한 후 불활성가스 분위기 하에서 열처리하여 탄화시키는 단계; 및b) 상기 a)단계의 탄화물을 활성화제에 함침시킨 후 불활성 가스 분위기 하에서 열처리하여 탄화물을 활성화시키는 단계를 포함하는 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 a)단계의 ⅰ)의 탄소 전구체는 수지, 핏치 또는 이들의 혼합물인 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 수지가 페놀(phenol) 수지, 푸란(furan) 수지, 에폭시(epoxy) 수지, 폴리아크릴로니트릴(polyacrylonitrile) 수지, 폴리이미드(polyimide) 수지, 폴리벤즈이미다졸(polybenzimidazole) 수지, 폴리페닐렌(polyphenylene) 수지, 바이페놀(biphenol) 수지류를 포함하는 열경화성 합성수지, 디비닐벤젠 스티렌 공중합체 (divinylbenzene styrene copolymer), 및 셀룰로오스로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 핏치가 석탄 핏치 또는 석유 핏치인 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 a)단계 ⅱ)의 소수성 무기물은 표면이 소수성으로 처리된 실리카, 지올라이트, 알루미나, 티타니아, 및 세리아로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 a)단계의 ⅰ) 탄소 전구체와 ⅱ)의 소수성 무기물은 100 : 0.1 내지 1000의 중량비로 혼합되는 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 b)단계의 활성화제는 알칼리 금속 염의 용액인 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 b)단계의 함침은 0.5 내지 10 노르말 농도의 알칼리 금속 용액에서 1분 내지 50시간 동안 실시되는 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 a)단계의 열처리는 200 내지 1500 ℃의 열처리 온도에서 1 분 내지 50 시간 동안 실시되는 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 b)단계의 열처리는 500 내지 900 ℃의 열처리 온도에서 1분 내지 50시간 동안 실시되는 제조방법.
