- 산화수 +3을 가지는 티타늄 전이금속과 다중 배위가 가능한 리간드 및 베타 디케토나토 리간드를 포함하며, 다음 화학식 I 또는 II로 표현되는 올레핀 중합용 촉매.(여기에서, 티타늄의 산화수는 +3 이며,X 및 Y는 Ti에 다중 배위가 가능한 단이온 리간드로, 씨클로펜타다이닐 리간드(Cp), 인디닐 리간드(Ind), 훌루오리닐 리간드(Flu) 또는 이 리간드들의 탄소에 수소대신 한개 이상의 메틸, 에틸, tert-부틸, iso-프로필, 네오펜틸, 헥실, 페닐 또는 트리메틸실릴 그룹이 치환된 리간드,B는 X와 Y사이를 연결해 주는 그룹으로, C2H4, C(CH3)2, CPh2, Si(CH3)2, -Si(CH3)2OSi(CH3)2- 또는 Ge(CH3)2,R 및 R"는 CH3, CH2CH3, tert-부틸 또는 페닐 그룹이며,R'은 수소, 메틸, 에틸, 페닐, F, Cl, Br 또는 I이다.)

- 제1항의 올레핀 중합용 촉매를 제조하는 방법에 있어서,출발물질로서 각각 XYTi(IV)Z2(Z = F, Cl, Br, I)과 XBYTi(IV)Z2(Z = F, Cl, Br, I)를 용매에 분산 또는 용해시키는 공정;0℃ 이하로 냉각하고nBuLi을 출발물질 1몰 대비 2∼2.5몰 가한 후 교반하는 공정;형성된 용액에 베타-디케톤을 출발물질 1몰 대비 1∼5몰 첨가하고 상온에서 1∼10시간동안 교반하는 공정;휘발성 물질을 제거하고 유기용매를 가하여 생성된 용액을 실라이트를 통과시켜 LiCl을 제거하는 공정;농축한 용액을 상온이하로 냉각하거나 농축한 용액에 극성이 작은 용매를 가하여 결정성 고체를 생성시키는 공정;여과 및 건조시키는 공정이 순차적으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 올레핀 중합용 촉매의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 용매는 THF, 방향족 유기용매 또는 포화지방족 유기용매 중 한 가지 이상을 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 올레핀 중합용 촉매의 제조방법.
