Claims (7)
- 유리관 내부에 He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe중 적어도 1종류 이상의 희소가스를 소정량 봉입 밀폐하고, 상기 유리관 내부에 형광체 물질을 도포하며, 상기 유리관 외면의 관축방향으로 띠형상의 전극(2, 2')을 적어도 2개 이상 배설하는 외부전극식 형광 방전램프(1)를 반복파형을 가지는 램프전압으로 점등시키는 방전램프 점등장치로써, 상기 램프전압의 반복파형에 있어서의 일주기내의 유일의 최대 피크(H)를 가지는 파형의 전압이 0에서의 폭(W0)을, 전압파형의 반복주기(t)에 대해 2W0 < t로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 점등장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정현파에 의해 상기 램프(1)를 점등시킨 경우에 얻어지는 최대조도를 L로 하고, 이 때와 동일한 램프전력을 상기 조건으로 부여한 경우에, 상기 조도(L)가 얻어지는 최대 피크를 가지는 파형의 반치폭(Wx)으로 했을 때, 사용할 램프전압에 있어서의 최대 피크를 가지는 파형의 반치폭(W)을 W < Wx로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 점등장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반복전압파형의 주기(t)를 5μsec 내지 70μsec로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 점등장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, Xe가스 분압이 80Torr이상이고, 또한 전체 봉입가스압이 760Torr 이하의 가스를 유리관 내부에 봉입한 외부전극식 형광 방전램프(1)를 점등시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 점등장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 최대 피크 전압에 연속하는 진동파에 발광에 기여하는 유효전력이 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 점등장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 램프전압의 반복 파형을 플라이 백 방식의 회로에 의해 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 점등장치.
