- 밀도 10 ㎏/㎥ 이상 100 ㎏/㎥ 이하의 탄화수소를 함유하는 페놀 발포체로서, 평균기포직경이 5 ㎛ 이상 200 ㎛ 이하의 범위에 있고, 상기 발포체의 횡단면적에서 차지하는 보이드의 면적비율이 0 % 이상 5 % 이하이고, 또한 전자현미경으로 기포벽 절단면을 관찰하여, 하나의 기포벽 절단면 당 구멍 또는 패임이 10개 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 페놀 발포체.

- 제 19 항에 있어서, 플루오로탄화수소가 1,1,1,2-테트라플루오로에탄, 1,1-디플루오로에탄 및 펜타플루오로에탄에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상인 페놀 발포체.
- 점도상승속도상수가 0.005 ∼ 0.5 의 범위이고, 함유수분량이 4 ∼ 12 중량% 이고, 40 ℃ 에 있어서의 점도가 1000 ∼ 30000 cps 인 레졸수지와, 계면활성제, 탄화수소 함유 발포제 및 경화촉매를, 온도가 10 ∼ 70 ℃, 압력이 발포제의 증기압 이상, 발포제의 증기압 + 5 ㎏/㎠ 이하인 혼합기내에서 혼합하고 발포시켜, 그 후의 경화반응행정에 있어서 단계적으로 온도를 상승시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 페놀 발포체의 제조방법.
- 제 25 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 함유 발포제가 탄화수소 50 중량% 이상 함유하는 페놀 발포체의 제조방법.
- 제 26 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 함유 발포제가 탄화수소 100 중량부에 대하여 플루오로탄화수소 100 ∼ 0.1 중량부 함유하는 페놀 발포체의 제조방법.
