Abstract

PURPOSE: An LED(Light Emitting Diode) lighting apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to enable a lighting equipment to have various color tones by controlling power supplied to each emitting diode through a control device. CONSTITUTION: A lighting unit(80) includes a plurality of emitting diodes having three primary colors of light. An input unit(10) inputs a control instruction. A driving unit(70) controls colors of the lighting unit(80) by controlling power supplied to the lighting unit(80). A control unit(50) driven by an instruction inputted through the input unit(10) compares the temperature detected through the temperature detecting unit(32) with the data stored the storing unit(20) and controls the driving unit(70) so as to change the colors of the lighting unit(80) according to the compared result.
