Claims (7)
- 촉매 변환기에 있어서,케이싱과,상기 케이싱 내부에 배치된 모놀리스 촉매 캐리어와,상기 케이싱 내부에 고정식으로 배치되고, 상기 모놀리스 촉매 캐리어와 동축으로 위치하고, 모놀리스 촉매 캐리어의 단부면 근처에 위치하고, 환형 바닥벽과 서로로부터 분리되어 있고 바닥벽으로부터 연장되는 환형 내벽 및 환형 외벽을 갖는 환형 캡과,상기 환형 캡의 홈 내에 동축으로 배치되고, 모놀리스 촉매 캐리어를 축방향으로 탄성 지지하기 위해 모놀리스 촉매 캐리어의 단부면에 가압 접촉 상태로 배치되고, 와이어 메쉬의 환형 성형 구조물이고, 가압되면서 케이싱 내에 조립되는 단계에서 탄성 와셔와 캡의 내부벽 사이에 간극을 형성하도록 캡이 내부벽의 외주연 표면의 직경보다 큰 직경을 갖는 내부 주연 표면을 갖는 환형 탄성 와셔를 포함하며,상기 내부벽은 외벽의 반경방향으로 내향 위치되어 있고, 상기 하부벽, 내벽 및 외벽은 홈을 형성하도록 U형 단면으로 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 간극이, 캡의 열 팽창 시에 캡의 내벽의 반경방향 변위량에대응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 환형 탄성 와셔는 탄성 와셔가 케이싱 내에 조립되지 않은 단계에서 탄성 와셔와 캡의 외벽 사이의 공차를 흡수하도록 외부 간극을 형성하도록 캡의 외벽의 내주연 표면의 직경보다 작은 직경을 갖는 외주연 표면을 갖고, 상기 환형 탄성 와셔는 케이싱 내에 조립되지 않은 단계에서 탄성 와셔와 캡의 내벽 사이에 상기 외부 간극보다 큰 내부 간극을 형성하도록 캡의 내벽의 외주연 표면의 직경보다 큰 직경을 갖는 내주연 표면을 갖고, 상기 간극들 사이의 차이는 적어도 캡의 내벽의 반경방향 변위량에 대응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 간극들 사이의 차이가 캡의 내벽의 직경의 0.5% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 캡의 내벽이 원통형이고 상기 케이싱과 동축인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 캡의 내벽은 원추대이고, 내벽의 환형 팁 단부 섹션에 의해 형성된 제1 직경과 내벽의 환형 바닥부 단부 섹션에 의해 형성된 제2 직경을 갖고, 상기 환형 바닥부 단부 섹션은 캡의 바닥벽에 연결되어 있고 제1 직경은 제2 직경보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모놀리스 촉매 캐리어는 가스가 유동하는 통로를 통해 축방향으로 연장하는 다수의 통로를 갖고, 각각의 통로는 5 mil 이하의 두께를 갖는 벽에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매 변환기
