발명의 중요한 용도

Description
본 발명은 세탁주기에 첨가되거나 오염부분에 직접 바른후 일반세탁처리를 하는 액체세제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 음이온 및 비이온 계면활성제를 주성분으로 하고, 제올라이트 및 아크릴산과 말레인산염의 공중합체등이 함유된 액체세제 조성물에 관한 것이며, 특히 탁월한 틱소트로픽 겔을 만들수 있는 적층 실리케이트(LAYERED SILICAFE)와 같은 합성 무기클레이를 첨가하여 높은 경수연화효과와 함께 제품의 물성을 장기안정화시키는 효과를 부여하였다.
지금까지 분말세제 및 액체세제에 관한 많은 특허가 출원되었으며, 이들 세제는 주로 세탁주기에 첨가되어 사용되어 왔다.
액체세제는 사용시 계량이 용이하고 분말세제에 비해 분진이 날리지 않는 장점이 있으며, 사용방법에 있어서도 분말세제와 유사하계 세탁주기에 첨가되어 사용될 수도 있지만, 오염이 심한 부분에 직접 발라서 사용할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 아울러 보관중 분말 세제에서 생길 수 있는 덩어리 발생등의 단점도 보완할 수 있다.
그러나, 액체세제의 경우 세척력을 향상시키기위해 제올라이트와 같은 수불용성 무기빌더를 첨가하는 경우 불용성물질의 침전에 의한 상분리등의 발생으로 세제조성물이 불균일하게 되거나, 불용성함유물의 침전 또는 부유현상을 일으키는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 액체 세제의 경우 분말세제에 비하여 조성원료의 사용에 있어서 많은 제약을 받는다.
예를들면 탄산나트륨, 규산나트륨과 같은 강한 전해성을 갖는 물질이 분말세제와 달리 액체세제 조성물에 알칼리빌더로 첨가되어 있을시에 조성물에서의 염석에 의하여 계면활성제의 분리가 생길 수 있다. 이러한 현상을 방지하기 위하여 알카올아민(Alkaolamine)같은 유기알칼리가 사용되어지기도 한다.
또한 액체세제 조성물에 있어서 제올라이트와 같은 불용성 물질을 첨가하는데는 많은 제약이 따른다. 이는 제올라이트가 장시간 수용액에 존재시 침전되어 고화되기 때문이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 제올라이트는 세탁주기에 첨가되었을때 칼슘이온 봉쇄제로서 우수한 효과를 나타낸다. 그러므로 제올라이트가 함유되지 않는 기존 액체 세제에 비교하여 제올라이트가 함유된 액체세제가 상대적으로 우수한 세척력을 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다. 물론 칼슘이온 봉쇄제로서 아크릴산 및 시트르산과 같은 유기빌더가 사용될 수도 있으나 세탁주기에 있어서 충분한 효과를 나타낼 수 있는 양을 액체세제 조성물에 첨가할때 조성물의 점도가 너무 증가하거나 상분리가 일어날 수 있다.
그러므로, 우수한 세척력을 얻기 위하여 제올라이트를 첨가하는 것이 바람직하며, 액체세제에 있어서 제올라이트를 첨가하기 위해서는 제올라이트를 함유한 조성물이 장시간 안정되게 분산상태로 유지되어야 한다.
예를들면 일본 특허공고 제 58-135794호에서는 제올라이트등의 고체입자의 안정화를 위하여 액체 계면활성제 조성물에 전해질의 첨가에 의해 액정화하는 것이 시도되었다.
그러나, 이와같은 분산상태에서는 계면활성제가 염석되기 때문에 조성물의 점도가 현저하게 높아지게 될 것이며, 이러한 현상의 발생은 사용하는데 있어서 불편한 점이 따르게 된다.
본 발명의 목적은 제올라이트를 함유할 경우 상기의 선행기술의 단점을 제거하고, 또한 장시간동안 고온에서 저장했을시 조성물의 상분리를 방지할 수 있는 액체세제 조성물을 제공하는데 있다.
본 발명의 조성물은 합성실리케이트 1-20중량%, 계면활성제(주로 음이온 및 비이온 계면활성제) 5-50중량%, 제올라이트 1-30%중량, 및 공중합체(예, 아크릴산과 말레인산염) 0.1-5중량% 함유함을 특징으로한다. 본 발명의 조성물에는 전분 1-10중량% 및 기타 소량의 효소, 재오염 부착방지제, 향료, 알카리빌터, 형광증백제등이 사용될 수 있다.
본 발명에서 사용되는 침전방지 상안정제로서 사용되는 무기 클레이로는 천연 클레이미네랄헥토리트, 벤토나이트 및 합성의 무기 클레이가 사용될 수 있으나, 보다 바람직하게는 합성리튬마그네슘실리케이트계로서 결정서 실리카불순물이 거의 없는 것이다.
본 발명에 사용되는 유용한 합성리듐마그네슘실리케이트는 상입상 구입가능하며 합성에 의하여 얻을 수 있다. 본 발명의 실시예에서 유용한 합성리튬마그네슘실리케이트의 화학적 조성으로는 SiO2가 54-59%, MgO가 26-28%, Li2O가 0.3-1.0%, Na2O가 2.5-6%인 것이다.
본 발명에 사용되는 합성리튬마그네슘실리케이트는 조성물의 1-20중량%이고, 바람직하게는 3-10중량%이다. 또한, 본 발명에 있어서 사용되는 계면활성제는 음이온 계면활성제 및 비이온 계면활성제이며, 음이온 계면활성제로는 탄소수 8-18인 알킬기를 가지는 직쇄 알킬술폰산 및 그 염, 탄소수 10-20을 가지는 고급알코올의 황산에스테르염, 탄소수 10-20을 가지는 알파 올레핀술폰산나트륨염, 탄소수 10-20을 가지는 고급 알코올의 폴리옥시에틸렌에테르 황산에스테르 염등이 있으며 비이온 계면활성제로는 탄소 원자수 8-16인 1급 또는 2급 알코올에 옥시에틸렌 8-12분자가 부가된 알킬폴리옥시에틸렌에테르등을 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명에서 사용되는 계면활성제의 함량은 조성물의 5-50중량%이고, 바람직하게는 15-30중량%이다. 계면활성제의 함량이 5중량%이하 또는 50중량%이상의 과량일때는 충분한 세척력을 기대하기 어렵거나 액체세제 조성물이 불안정해지므로 바람직하지 않다.
본 발명의 액체세제 조성물은 상기의 음이온 및 비이온 계면활성제 이외의 양쪽성 계면활성제 및 양이온 계면활성제가 첨가될 수 있으며, 이러한 경우 음이온 및 비이온 계면활성제 대비 기타 계면활성제의 함량이 중량 비율로 1:2을 넘지 않아야 한다. 이는 본 발명의 액체세제 조성물은 세척력에 주안점을 두고 있으므로 음이온 및 비이온 계면활성제에 비하여 세척력이 현저히 떨어지는 양이온 계면활성제의 비율이 상대적으로 높아질수록 제품의 세척력이 떨어지기 때문이다.
본 발명에서 사용되는 대표적인 제올라이트 물질인 알루미노 규산염은 다음과 같은 식을 가진다:
상기식에서 M은 칼슘교환 양이온이고, Z 및 Y는 6이상의 상수이며, Z:Y의 몰비는 약 0.5-1.0이며, X는 5이상의 수, 바람직하게는 약 7.5-275 특히 약 10-264인 수이다.
알루미노규산염 이온교환물질은 입자직경이 0.1-10미크론, 바람직하게는 약 0.2-4미크론이다. 여기서, 입자직경이란 SCANNING전자현미경을 사용한 현미경 측정법등의 분석법에 의하여 측정되어진 이온교환물질의 평균입자경을 의미한다.
본 발명에 사용되는 유용한 알루미노규산염 이온교환물질은 상업상 구입가능하며 천연적으로 얻거나 합성에 의하여 얻을 수 있다. 본 발명에 유용한 합성 결정형 알루미노규산염 이온교환물질은 S-8평면의 제올라이트A, S-8비평면의 제올라이트B, S-12평면의 제올라이트X, S-평면의 제올라이트 L 및 이들의 혼합물을 이용하는 것이 바람직하다. 특히 본 발명의 실시예에서 사용된 바람직한 알루미노규산염 이온교환물질은 제올라이트A형으로서, Na2O, Al2O3, 2SiO2와 같은 화학조성을 가지고 있다.
제올라이트의 함량이 1중량%이하이거나 30중량%이상일때는 충분한 세척효과를 기대하기 어렵거나 점도가 너무 높게되는 경향이 있기 때문에 본 발명에서 제올라이트는 1-30중량% 사용할 수 있지만 더욱 바람직하게는 4-28중량% 함유하는 것이 좋다. 또한 본 발명에서 사용되는 산화처리된 전분은 옥수수전분을 산화제로 처리한 것으로서 백도는 98.0이상, pH는 5-8, 조회분 1%이하이며, 수분 15%이하를 함유하고 있다. 본 전분은 여러분야에서 점도조정, 분산성 및 점도안정성의 향상을 목적으로 주로 사용되고 있으며, 특히 면직 및 견직의 섬유공업에 있어서 실에 탄력을 주어 실이 끊어지는 것을 방지하기 위해 사용하고 있다. 또한 물에 쉽게 분산되어 조성물의 안정화에도 기여하는데 이는 상업적으로도 구입가능하다.
또한 아크릴산 및 말레인산염을 비롯한 유기물질의 공중합체가 사용되었으며 이는 재오염 부착방지 및 경수연화 능력을 갖고 있으며 이밖에 물때형성 방지 및 분산성, 세척력 향상에 기여하는 것으로 알려져 있다.
본 발명에 사용되는 공중합체는 다음과 같은 구조를 갖는다.
여기에서 (1)의 공중합체는 점도가 180-520 CPS(25℃ BM형 점도계 NO.3 60 RPM)이고, 비중은 1.29-1.315(25℃)이며, 평균분자량은 10만-30만이며 더욱 바람직하게는 15만-25만을 갖는다.
또한 상기에서 R1, R2는 수소 또는 메틸기, R3는 1-6개의 탄소수를 갖는 알킬기, M은 알칼리금속, 모노에탄올 아민, 디에탄올아민, 트리에탄올아민이고, m:n은 몰비로 1:9 - 1:8이다.
본 발명에 사용되는 공중합체는 (2), (3)에서 (메틸)아크릴산 및 이의염 대 알킬(메틸)아크릴산 및 이들의 염의비율이 공중합체의 몰비로 1:9 - 8:2이며, 바람직하게는 4:6 - 5:5의 비율이며 평균분자량은 10만이상이 되어야하며 더욱 바람직하게는 20만이상이 되는 것이좋다.
또한, (2), (3)의 염으로서 알칼리 금속염 및 DEA(디에탄올아민), MEA(모노에탄올아민), TEA(트리에탄올아민)등이 사용되어진다.
본 발명에서는 상기의 성분들 외에 세척력을 높이기 위하여 알카리빌더, 재오염부착방지제 및 형광증백제, 효소, 향료들이 첨가되어질 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 액체세제 조성물은 음이온 및 비이온 계면활성제를 함유하고 공중합체, 더욱 바람직하게는 말레인산과 아크릴산의 공중합체 및 이들 공중합체의 염, (메틸)아크릴산염과 알킬(메틸) 아크릴레이트(에스테르)염의 공중합체와 경수연화제로 알루미노 규산염이 사용되며 특별히 산화처리된 전분이 사용되어 세탁시 세탁물에 풀을 먹이는 효과와 분산성을 부여하여 장시간 보존하는데 탁월한 효과를 유지할 수 있고 특히, 높은 온도에서도 저장안정성이 우수하다.
이하 실시예를 통하여 본 발명을 구체적으로 설명한다.
실시예
본 발명의 실시예에 사용된 점도 및 안정성 평가방법은 다음과 같다.
(1)점도측정방법
알루미노규산염을 함유하는 액체세제 조성물의 점도측정은 BH타입 점도계(50-2,000,000cp까지 측정할 수 있으며, 본 발명에서 유용한 점도는 50p이하임)에 의하여 25℃ 및 42℃에서 측정하였음.
(2)저장 안정성 평가방법
약 150ml의 각종 조성물을 25℃ 및 45℃에서 5주동안 200cc의 플라스티렌용기에 보관한후 다음과 같이 평가하였다.
+2 : 상층에 5% 부피이하의 분리가 발생
+1 : 상층에 5-10%부피 분리생김
0 : 상층에 10%이상 분리생김
실시예 1
표 1의 조성에따라 액체세제 조성물을 제조하여 점도 및 저장안정성을 평가하였다.

M은 알카리 금속, MEA, DEA 또는 TEA이며, R1및 R2는 각각 H 및 알킬기이고, R3는 탄소원자수 1-4개인 알킬기이고, m:n은 몰비로 1:9-1:8 이다.
실시예 2
표 2의 조성에따라 액체세제 조성물을 제조하여 저장안정성을 평가하였다 (저장조건은 25℃와 42℃임).
표 2의 조성에서 여분은 물로 보정하였으며, 기타 소량의 원료(알카리빌더,효소, 형광증백제, 향료, 재오염부착방지제등)을 첨가하였다.

실시예 3
표 3의 조성에다라 액체세제 조성물을 제조하여 저장안정성 및 물성을 평가하였다 (저장조건은 25℃임).
표 3의 조성에서 여분은 물로 보정하였으며, 기타 소량의 원료(알카리빌더, 효소, 형광증백제, 향료, 재오염부착방지제등)을 첨가하였다.

세척력평가
조성물에 대한 세척력평가는 천연오염포를 사용하였으며 세탁조건 및 사용방법은 다음과 같다.
세척력평가는 실시예의 조성물과 표준세제에 대하여 위와 같은 방법으로 세탁하여 전문판넬테스트요원들에 의하여 상대평가 하였음.
위와 같이 측정한 결과 대다수에서 만족할만한 성과를 얻을 수 있었다.
실시예 4
다음 표 4의 조성에따라 액체세제 조성물을 제조하여 저장안정성 및 점도를 평가하였다.

상기 여러 실시예에서 제올라이트를 함유한 액체세제 조성물 이 저장안정성 및 점도에 있어서 만족할만한 조성물임을 알 수 있다.
Claims (2)
- 액체세제조성물에 있어서, 계면활성제 5-50중량%, 제올라이트 1-30중량%, 합성리튬마그네슘실리케이트 1-20중량%, 및 말레인산 또는 이의 염과 아크릴산 또는 이의 염과의 공중합체 또는 (메틸)아크릴산 또는 이의 염과 알킬(메틸)아크릴산 또는 이의 염과의 공중합체 0.1-5중량%를 함유함을 특징으로하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 계면활성제의 함량이 15-30중량%이고, 제올라이트의 함량이 4-28중량%이며, 합성실케이트의 함량이 3-10중량%인 조성물.
