Claims (3)
- DC 열 플라즈마 화학증착 (chemical vapor deposition; CVD)법으로 다이아몬드를 합성함에 있어서, 진공 펌프 (vacuum pump)로 반응기 내의 공기를 제거한 후 플라즈마 가스 분위기를 만든 다음 플라즈마 제트 (plasma jet)를 이용하여 원료가스인 메탄을 수소와 충분히 혼합하여 다이아몬드를 기판 위에 증착시키는 과정에서 수소에 대한 메탄의 유량비는 3∼5%, 기판의 온도 범위는 900∼1050℃ 및 증착시간을 20분∼60분으로 조절함으로써 다이아몬드를 기판 위에 고속으로 증착시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 다이아몬드의 제조방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 플라즈마 불꽃 내에 원료가스인 메탄의 색이 확인된 후 토치 출구와 기판과의 간격을 조절함으로써 기판의 온도를 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다이아몬드의 제조방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 반응이 끝나기 10분 전에 2분 간격으로 플라즈마 불꽃과 기판과의 간격을 4∼6 mm정도 멀리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다이아몬드의 제조방법
