Claims (3)
- 전기장을 인가하기 위한 제1전극이 형성된 기판;광원에서 출력된 광이 입사되어 전파되는 광도파로;상기 기판과 상기 광도파로의 어느 한 면 사이에 위치하고 상기 광도파로를 따라 전파되는 광을 전반사시키기 위하여 상기 광도파로의 굴절률보다 낮은 물질로된 클래딩층;상기 광도파로의 다른 면에 인접하여 위치하고 상기 광도파로를 따라 전파되는 광을 외부로 출력하기 위하여 전기장에 따라 굴절률이 변하는 물질로 이루어진 전기광학물질층;상기 전기광학물질층의 한 면에 위치하고 상기 전기광학 물질층에 전기장을 인가하기 위한 제2전극이 형성된 유리기판;상기 유리기판의 한면에 위치하고 상기 전기광학물질층을 통과하는 광에 대하여 전반사 조건을 만족하기 위하여 굴절율이 서로 다른 두 물질을 전반사 조건으로 만족하는 각도로 결합된 구조를 갖는 광반사구조체; 및상기 광반사구조체에 위치하고 상기 광반사구조체를 통과하는 광을 산란시키는 산란층을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 광반사구조체를 구비한 광도파로 평면 디스플레이 패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광반사구조체는상기 서로 다른 두 물질중 굴절율이 낮은 물질로 공기를 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광반사구조체를 구비한 광도파로 평면 디스플레이 패널.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광반사구조체는유리 또는 석영 또는 폴리머 재료로 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 광반사구조체를 구비한 광도파로 평면 디스플레이 패널.
