Claims (8)
- 대물렌즈를 포함하여 광디스크로부터 데이터를 리드/라이트하는 광픽업과, 광디스크간의 포커싱을 제어하는 포커스 서보와, 광픽업의 트랙 추종을 제어하는 트래킹 서보 및 광디스크의 반경 방향으로 광픽업의 이송을 제어하는 슬레드 서보를 구비한 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크로부터 데이터를 엑세스하는 장치에 있어서,상기 포커서 서보, 트래킹 서보 및 슬레드 서보를 제어하여 현재 위치에서 목표 트랙으로 광픽업을 수평 이동시켜 탐색하는 거친 탐색을 수행하고, 상기 거친 탐색 기간 동안에 광빔을 목표층으로 이동시키기 위한 포커스 점프를 수행한 후 트랙 점프에 의해 목표 트랙으로 이동하는 정밀 탐색을 수행하여 데이터를 엑세스하는 시스템 컨트롤러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 시스템 컨트롤러는상기 거친 탐색이 시작된 시점으로부터 소정 시간이 경과한 후에 포커스 점프를 수행하도록 상기 포커스 서보를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 시스템 컨트롤러는상기 거친 탐색 기간 동안 광픽업의 대물렌즈의 진동을 억제하기 위한 트래킹 서보 오프 및 중립점 서보 중 어느 하나를 수행함을 특징으로 하는 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 트래킹 서보 오프 및 중립점 서보 중 어느 하나는 상기 거친 탐색 시점으로부터 포커스 점프가 완료된 시점에서 소정 시간이 경과한 시점 까지 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치.
- 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크에서 데이터를 엑세스하는 방법에 있어서,현위치에서 목표 층 까지의 수평거리를 계산한 후 거친 탐색을 하는 제1단계;상기 제1단계에서의 거친 탐색 시점으로부터 소정시간 경과후 광빔을 목표 층으로 이동시키기 위한 포커스 점프를 하는 제2단계;상기 제2단계에서 광빔이 목표 층으로 이동되었다고 판단되면 포커스 점프 동작을 중지하고 포커스 온하는 제3단계;포커스 동작이 안정화된 후 원하는 지점까지 거친탐색을 계속 수행하는 제4단계; 및정밀 탐색을 수행한 후 데이터 엑세스를 하는 제5단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 다층 데이터 구조를 갖는 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 방법.
- 대물렌즈를 포함하여 광디스크로부터 데이터를 리드/라이트하는 광픽업과, 광디스크간의 포커싱을 제어하는 포커스 서보와, 광픽업의 트랙 추종을 제어하는 트래킹 서보 및 광디스크의 반경 방향으로 광픽업의 이송을 제어하는 슬레드 서보를 구비하여, 데이터의 리드/라이트가 가능한 제1영역과, 광빔이 반사되지 않는 투명층으로 구성된 제2영역을 포함하는 층을 복수 개 구비한 하이브리드 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치에 있어서,상기 광픽업에서 투사되는 광빔이 상기 제1영역과 제2영역의 경계를 지날 때 층경계를 알리는 영역 경계신호를 검출하는 경계검출부; 및상기 슬레드 서보를 제어하여 현재 위치에서 목표 트랙으로 광픽업을 수평 이동시켜 탐색하는 거친 탐색을 수행하도록 하고, 상기 포커스 서보를 제어하여 상기 경계검출부에서 검출되는 영역 경계신호에 근거하여 광빔을 목표층으로 이동시키기 위한 포커스 점프를 수행한 후 트랙 점프에 의해 목표 트랙으로 이동하는 정밀 탐색을 수행하여 데이터를 엑세스하는 시스템 컨트롤러를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 시스템 컨트롤러는상기 영역 경계신호가 검출된 후 소정 시간이 경과한 후 포커스 점프를 수행하도록 포커스 서보를 제어함을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 장치.
- 데이터의 리드/라이트가 가능한 제1 영역과, 광빔이 반사되지 않는 투명층으로 구성된 제2영역을 포함하는 층을 복수 개 구비한 하이브리드 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 방법에 있어서,현위치에서 목표 층까지의 수평거리를 계산한 후 거친 탐색을 수행하는 제1단계;광빔이 상기 영역들의 경계면을 감지하는 제2단계;상기 제2단계에서의 경계면 감지 시점으로부터 소정 시간 경과후 광빔을 목표층으로 이동시키기 위한 포커스 점프를 수행하는 제3단계;상기 제2단계에서 광빔이 목표 층으로 이동되었다고 판단되면 포커스 점프 동작을 중지하고 포커스 온하는 제4단계;포커스 동작이 안정화된 후 원하는 지점까지 거친탐색을 계속 수행하는 제5단계; 및정밀 탐색을 수행한 후 데이터 엑세스를 하는 제6단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 광디스크에서의 데이터 엑세스 방법.
