Claims (11)
- 다수의 실린더를 갖는 실린더 블록과, 상기 실린더 블록의 블록 데크 위에 고정 장착되고, 각각의 실린더에 제1 및 제2 흡기 포트와 제1 및 제2 배기 포트를 갖는 실린더 헤드와, 상기 제1 및 제2 흡기 포트를 폐쇄할 수 있고 상기 실린더 헤드에 배치된 이동 가능한 제1 및 제2 흡기 밸브와, 상기 제1 및 제2 배기 포트를 폐쇄할 수 있고 상기 실린더 헤드에 배치된 이동 가능한 제1 및 제2 배기 밸브와, 각각의 실린더에 대응하여 형성된 연소실 내로 연료를 직접 분사하기 위한 연료 분사 밸브와, 선단부가 연소실 내로 돌출된 점화 플러그와, 피스톤과 실린더 헤드 사이의 연소실을 형성하기 위해 실린더 내에 이동 가능하게 배치되고, 피스톤의 중심축에서 상기 흡기 밸브 방향으로 오프셋된 중심축을 갖는 원형 공동을 갖도록 피스톤 크라운에 형성된 피스톤과, 엔진 작동 조건에 따라 상기 제1 흡기 포트 내의 공기의 유동을 제어하도록 배치된 스월 제어 밸브를 구비하며, 상기 제2 흡기 포트는 적어도 주요부가 제1 설정각을 형성하도록 제2 수직 평면에 대해 기울어진 제1 수직 평면에 포함되는 축을 갖고, 제1 수직 평면은 상기 제2 수직 평면에 대해 연소실 방향으로 상기 피스톤의 중심축에 서서히 접근하고, 제1 및 제2 수직 평면은 상기 실린더 블록의 블록 데크에 수직이고, 제2 수직 평면은 상기 제1 흡기 및 배기 밸브를 통과하고 실린더의 중심축을 포함하는 제3 수직 평면에 수직이고 블록 테크에 수직이며, 상기 제1 흡기 및 배기 밸브는 상기 제3 수직 평면의 대향면 위에 각각 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 수직 평면은 상기 피스톤의 피스톤 크라운 내의 상기 원형 공동의 외면부에 통상 접하는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 수직 평면은 블록 데크 위의 상기 원형 공동의 외면부의 접선을 포함하는 제4 수직 평면에 통상 평행하고, 상기 제4 수직 평면은 블록 데크에 수직인 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점화 플러그의 선단부는 상기 원형 공동의 외면부 위에 배치되고 상기 제2 수직 평면에 대해 상기 제1 수직 평면의 대향면 위에 위치된 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 수직 평면은 상기 원형 공동의 외면부와 상기 점화 플러그 사이의 공간을 지나가는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연료 분사 밸브는 상기 피스톤의 피스톤 크라운 내에 상기 원형 공동 내부로 향하는 축을 갖고, 블록 데크를 포함하는 평면 위의 상기 제1 및 제2 흡기 포트 사이에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스월 제어 밸브는 연소실 내에서 성층 연소가 수행되는 소정의 엔진 작동 조건 상태에서 상기 제1 흡기 포트를 사실상 차단하기 위해 배열된 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 흡기 포트는 제1 및 제2 배기 포트에 대해 제3 수직 평면의 대향면 위에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 설정각은 5도보다 작지 않고 15도보다 작은 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 흡기 포트의 축의 적어도 주요부는 상기 실린더 블록의 상기 블록 데크의 표면에 대해 제2 설정각을 형성하고, 상기 제2 설정각은 30도보다 크고 40도보다 작은 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 연료 분사 밸브는 상기 실린더 블록의 상기 블록 데크의 표면에 대해 제3 설정각을 형성하고, 상기 제3 설정각은 35도에서 45도 사이의 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 실린더 직접 분사식 스파크 점화 엔진.
