Claims (8)
- 복수의 주사 전극과 복수의 데이타 전극을 포함하는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법에 있어서,소정 주사 전극이 동시에 선택되어 구동되고,상기 소정 주사 전극에 공급되어질 주사 신호에 보정 전압이 부가되는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 보정 전압은 적어도 하나의 펄스 및, 온 또는 오프 상태로 되어질 각 주사 전극상의 화소수에 따라 상기 적어도 하나의 펄스의 펄스폭을 조정함으로써 얻어진 전압을 갖고, 상기 적어도 하나의 펄스는 상기 주사 신호에 부가되어질 상기 보정 전압으로서 사용되는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 보정 전압은 적어도 하나의 펄스 및, 온 또는 오프 상태로 되어질 각 주사 전극상의 화소수에 따라 상기 적어도 하나의 펄스의 펄스 진폭을 조정함으로써 얻어진 전압을 갖고, 상기 적어도 하나의 펄스는 상기 주사 신호에 부가되어질 상기 보정 전압으로서 사용되는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 보정 전압은 적어도 하나의 펄스 및, 온 또는 오프 상태로 되어질 각 주사 전극상의 각 화소수에 따라 상기 적어도 하나의 펄스의 펄스 폭 및 펄스 진폭을 조정함으로써 얻어진 전압을 갖고, 상기 적어도 하나의 펄스는 주사 신호에 부가되어질 상기 보정 전압으로서 사용되는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 주사 신호는 상기 주사 신호가 상승하기 이전에는 비선택 전압 레벨이며,상기 주사 신호는 상기 주사 신호가 하강한 이후에는 상기 비선택 전압 레벨인 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 주사 신호에 실제 펄스의 상승 에지를 급격하게 하기 위한(sharpening) 전압 신호가 더 부가되는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 복수의 주사 전극과 복수의 데이타 전극을 포함하는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,주사 전극에 대응하며 온 또는 오프 상태로 되어질 화소들의 액정 용량 또는 화소수를 검출하는 검출 섹션,상기 검출 섹션으로부터의 검출 결과에 기초하여 펄스 폭 및 펄스 진폭중 적어도 하나를 조정하기 위한 보정 신호를 얻는 섹션, 및상기 보정 신호에 기초한 보정 전압을 각 주사 신호에 부가하고 그 결과 신호를 각 주사 전극에 공급하는 섹션을 포함하는 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 주사 신호는 상기 주사 신호가 상승하기 이전에는 비선택 전압 레벨이며,상기 주사 신호는 상기 주사 신호가 하강한 이후에는 상기 비선택 전압 레벨인 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치.
