Claims (6)
- 각 채널의 MPEG 트랜스포트 스트림에 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 원격제어를 위한 제어신호(ID)를 실어 전송하며, HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기로부터 입력되는 상태감시신호에 따라 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 상태를 원격으로 모니터링 및 제어하는 송신수단과,상기 송신수단으로 부터의 제어신호(ID)를 입력받아 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기를 제어하며 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 상태감시신호를 변조하여 상기 송신수단으로 전송하는 수신수단으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 CATV시스템의 원격제어장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 송신수단은 각 채널의 베이스밴드 비디오 및 오디오 신호를 MPEG 트랜스포트 스트림으로 엔코딩하는 MPEG 엔코더(1)와, 상기 MPEG엔코더(1)의 출력을 변조하는 VSB/QAM변조부(2)와, 상기 각 채널의 VSB/QAM변조부(2)의 출력을 다중화하는 다중화부(3)와, 상기 다중화부(3)의 출력을 전송망을 통해 수신장치로 전송시 상향신호에 영향을 주지 않도록 하기 위한 다이플렉스 필터(4)와, 상기 다이플렉스 필터(4)를 통해 수신장치로부터 전송되어오는 신호를 복조하는 마스터 모뎀(5)과 통신 케이블을 통해 접속되어 마스터 모뎀(5)을 통해 입력되는 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 상태감시신호에 따라 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 상태를 원격으로 모니터링하며 원격제어하기 위한 제어신호(ID)를 상기 마스터 모뎀(5)을 통해 출력하는 원격 제어부(6)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 CATV시스템의 원격제어장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 마스터 모뎀(5)은 기능 코드와 데이타 제어 또는 셋팅 코드에 따라서 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기를 폴링하여 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기에서 상태감시한 데이타를 수신하여 상기 원격 제어부(6)에 데이타를 전송해줌을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 CATV시스템의 원격제어장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 수신수단은 전송망을 통해 HE로부터 입력되는 하향신호가 상향신호에 영향을 주지 않도록 하기 위한 다이플렉스 필터(11)와, 상기 다이플렉서 필터(11)로 부터의 RF하향신호를 튜닝하여 IF신호로 출력하는 튜너부(12)와, 상기 다이플렉스 필터(11)의 하향신호 출력을 상기 튜너부(12) 및 별도의 외부단자로 제공하기 위한 신호 분리기(13)와, 상기 튜너부(12)의 출력을 신호처리하여 베이스밴드 비디오 및 오디오 신호와 제어신호(ID)로 출력하는 신호 처리부(18)와, HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 상태감시신호를 출력하는 상태 감시부(19)와, 상기 신호 처리부(18)에서 출력된 제어신호(ID)에 따라 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기를 제어하며 상기 상태 감시부(19)로부터 입력된 상태감시신호를 출력하는 제어부(20)와, 상기 제어부(20)로부터 출력되는 상태감시신호를 QPSK복조하여 상기 다이플렉스 필터(11)로 출력하는 슬레이브 모뎀(21)으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 CATV시스템의 원격제어장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 슬레이브 모뎀(21)은 상기 마스터 모뎀(5)을 통하여 데이타 제어신호를 수신하여 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기를 초기화시켜주거나 셋팅 코드를 수신하여 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기에 초기화 설정 값을 다운 로드시킴을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 CATV시스템의 원격제어장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 다이플레스 필터(11) 및 슬레이브 모뎀(21)은 플러그 인 방식으로 HDTV용 VSB/QAM수신기의 채널 보드에 삽입할 수 있도록 플러그 인 모듈로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 CATV시스템의 원격제어장치.
