Abstract

<목적> 헤더 1부에 기록된 복수의 어드레스 마크 및 어드레스 정보중의 선두의 어드레스 마크를 제외하는 1개의 어드레스 마크에 결함이 있어도 어드레스 정보에 결함이 없을 경우엔 이 어드레스 정보를 검출할 수 있는 어드레스 정보 검출 장치를 실현한다.
<구성> 선행하는 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치를 나타내는 종료 위치 신호 B가 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)로부터 출력되면 바이트 동기 검출 회로(3) 및 바이트 카운터(4)는 바이트 카운터 신호 C를 출력한다. 의사 어드레스 마크 검출 펄스 생성 회로(5)는 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치가지의 소정의 바이트 수를 계수하면 의사 펄스 신호 D를 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)에 공급한다. 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)는 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)로부터 검출 펄스 신호 A가 공급되어 있지 않는 경우는 의사 펄스 신호 D에 따라서 어드레스 정보를 추출한다.

자기 디스크 기록매체의 어드레스 정보 검출 장치

본 발명은 자기 디스크 기록 매체의 각 섹터에서의 헤더 일부에 기록된 어드레스 정보를 검출하는 장치에 관한 것이다.
광 자기 디스크 등의 자기 디스크 기록 매체에선 각 섹터는 헤더부와 데이터 영역으로 구성되어 있다. 그리고 헤더 일부는 어드레스 마크와 트랙 번호나 섹터 번호 등으로 이루는 어드레스 정보로 구성되어 있다. 그리고, 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치는 어드레스 마크로 나타내어 있다.
그런데, 예컨대 광 자기 디스크에선 신뢰성 향상을 위해서 어드레스 정보를 헤더 일부에 복수 기록하게 구성된 것이 있다.
제3도는 상술한 어드레스 정보를 헤더부에 2개소 기록하는 경우의 예이다.
동 도면에서 1섹터는 헤더부 HD1 및 데이터 영역 DA1로 구성되어 있다. 헤더부 HD1은 어드레스 마크 AM1과 이 어드레스 마크 AM1에 의해 그 선두 위치가 도시되는 어드레스 정보 AD1과 이 어드레스 정보 AD1의 종료 위치로부터 소정의 바이트 수만큼 떨어진 어드레스 마크 AM2와 이 어드레스 마크 AM2에 의해 그 선두 위치가 도시되는 어드레스 정보 AD2로 구성되어 있다. 또한, 어드레스 정보 AD1과 AD2는 동일 내용이 기록되어 있다.
그리고, 예컨대 데이터 판독시에는 어드레스 정보 AD1 이던가 AD2 중의 적어도 어느 한쪽이 어드레스 정보 검출 위치에 의해 검출되면 데이터 판독 동작을 개시한다. 또, 데이터 기록시에선 어드레스 정보 AD1과 AD2와의 양쪽이 어드레스 검출 장치에 의해 검출되었을때만 데이터 기록의 동작을 개시토록 되어 있다.
그러나 상기 종래의 어드레스정보 검출 장치에선 예컨대 어드레스 마크 AM2에 근소한 결함이 있는 경우엔 어드레스 정보 AD2의 개시 위치가 불명해지고 검출할 수 없으므로 어드레스 마크 AM1, 어드레스 정보 AD1 및 AD2에는 결함이 없음에도 불구하고 기록 동작이 불가능으로 되어 있었다.
그래서, 헤더 1부에 기록된 복수의 어드레스 마크 및 어드레스 정보중의 선두의 어드레스 마크를 제외하는 1개의 어드레스 마크에 결함이 있어도 어드레스 정보에 결함이 없을 경우에는 이 어드레스 정보를 검출할 수 있는 어드레스 정보 검출 장치가 소망되었었다.
본 발명은 상기 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 각 섹터의 헤더 1부에 어드레스 마크와 어드레스 정보가 복수 기록되는 자기 디스크 기록 매체의 어드레스 정보 검출 장치에서 헤더 일부로부터 어드레스 마크를 검출하고 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치를 나타내는 선두 위치 검출 신호를 출력하는 어드레스 마크 검출 수단과 상기 선두 위치 검출 신호에 의거해서 어드레스 정보를 추출해서 인식하고 이 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치를 나타내는 종료 위치 신호를 출력하는 어드레스 정보 인식 수단과 상기 종료 위치 신호에 의해서 상기 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치로부터 후속하는 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치까지의 소정의 바이트 수를 계수하고 상기 선두 위치의 예상 위치에서 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호를 어드레스 정보 인식 수단에 공급하는 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단을 구비하고 어드레스 정보 인식 수단은 어드레스 마크 검출 수단으로부터 선두 위치 검출 신호가 공급되지 않는 경우는 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단으로부터 공급되는 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호에 따라서 어드레스 정보를 추출해서 인식하게 구성한 것을 특징으로 하고 있다.
선행하는 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치를 나타내는 종료 위치 신호가 어드레스 정보 인식 수단으로부터 출력되면 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단은 후속하는 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치까지의 소정의 바이트 수를 계수한다. 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단은 소정의 바이트 수를 계수하면 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호를 어드레스 정보 인식 수단에 공급한다. 어드레스 정보 인식 수단은 어드레스 마크 검출 수단으로부터 선두 위치 검출 신호가 공급되지 않는 경우는 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호에 따라서 어드레스 정보를 추출한다.
따라서, 후속하는 어드레스 정보에 대응하는 어드레스 마크부에 결함이 있어도 어드레스 정보부에 결함이 없으면 이 어드레스 정보를 추출하고 인식할 수 있다.
제1도는 이 발명의 한 실시예의 블록도이며 광 자기 디스크의 어드레스 정보 검출에 적용한 경우의 예이다.
동 도면에서 1은 어드레스 마크 검출 회로이며 이 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)은 광 자기 디스크(도시 생략)에서 판독된 데이터(리이드 데이터)로부터 어드레스 마크를 검출하고 검출 펄스 신호 A를 출력한다. 2는 어드레스 정보 인식 회로이며 이 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)는 검출 펄스 신호 A 또는 후술하는 의사 펄스 신호 D에 의거해서 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치를 확정하고 어드레스 정보를 추출해서 인식한다. 3은 바이트 동기 검출 회로, 4는 바이트 카운터이다. 또, 5는 의사 어드레스마크 검출 펄스 생성 회로이며 이 생성 회로(5)로부터 의사 펄스 신호(어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호) D가 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)에 공급된다. 또한, 바이트 동기 검출 회로(3)과 바이트 카운터(4)와 의사 어드레스 마크 검출 펄스 생성 회로(5)로 인식 개시 번호 발생 수단이 구성된다.
제2도는 제1도의 예의 동작 타이밍챠트이다.
제1도 및 제2도에서 광 자기 디스크의 헤더부 HD1의 선행하는 어드레스 마크 AM1이 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)에 의해 검출된다. 그러면, 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)은 선행하는 어드레스 정보 AD1의 선두 위치를 나타내는 선두 위치 검출 신호 즉 검출 펄스 신호 A를 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)에 공급한다. 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)는 검출 펄스 신호 A에 의거해서 시점 t1부터 어드레스 정보 AD1의 추출, 인식을 개시하고 검출 정보 E1을 얻는다. 그리고, 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)는 어드레스 정보 AD1의 종료 위치를 나타내는 종료 위치 신호 B를 바이트 동기 검출 회로(3)에 공급한다. 바이트 동기 검출 회로(3)은 종료 위치 신호 B에 의거해서 어드레스 정보 AD1의 종료 시점 t2에서 바이트 카운트 개시 신호 S를 바이트 카운터 4에 공급한다. 그러면, 바이트 카운터 4는 시점 t2로부터 바이트 카운트 신호 C를 의사 어드레스 마크 검출 펄스 발생 회로(5)에 공급한다. 검출 펄스 발생 회로(5)는 바이트 카운터(4)로부터의 바이트 카운트 신호 C가 소정의 값, 즉, 어드레스 정보 AD1의 종료 위치로부터 후속하는 어드레스 정보 AD2의 선두 위치까지의 소정의 바이트 수(도면의 예에선 7바이트)로 되면 어드레스 정보 AD2의 선두 위치의 예상 위치를 도시하는 의사 펄스 신호 D를 어드레스 정보 이식 회로 2에 공급한다.
여기에서, 후속하는 어드레스 마크 AM2에 결함이 없으면 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)에 의해 어드레스 마크 AM2가 검출되고 어드레스 정보 AD2의 선두 위치를 나타내는 검출 펄스 신호 A가 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)에 공급된다. 그리고, 어드레스 정보 AD2가 추출되어 인식된다.
한편, 어드레스 마크 AM2에 결함이 있고 어드레스 정보 AD2의 선두 위치가 불명한 경우엔 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)로부터 검출 펄스 신호 A는 출력되지 않는다. 이 경우엔 의사 어드레스 마크 검출 펄스 생성 회로(5)부터의 의사 펄스 신호 D에 의거해서 시점 t3에서 어드레스 정보 AD2의 추출, 인식을 개시하고 검출 정보 E2를 얻는다.
이상 같이 이 발명의 1실시예에 의하면 선행하는 어드레스 정보 AD1의 종료 위치를 나타내는 위치 신호 B가 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)로부터 출력되며, 이 위치 신호 B로부터 소정의 바이트 수만큼 계수되며 후속하는 어드레스 정보 AD2의 선두 위치의 예상 위치를 나타내는 의사 펄스 신호 D가 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)에 공급된다. 그리고 어드레스 마크 AM2에 결함이 있고 어드레스 마크 검출 회로(1)로부터 검출 펄스 신호 A가 출력되지 않는 경우에는 의사 펄스 신호 D에 의거해서 어드레스 정보 AD2가 어드레스 정보 인식 회로(2)에 의해서 추출되어 인식된다. 따라서, 어드레스 마크 AM2에 결함이 있어도 어드레스 마크 AM1, 어드레스 정보 AD1 및 AD2에 결함이 없으면 어드레스 정보 AD2를 검출할 수 있고 어드레스 정보의 인식 능력이 향상된 어드레스 정보 검출 장치를 실현할 수 있다.
또한, 상술한 예에선 1개의 헤더부에 기록되는 어드레스 정보는 어드레스 정보 AD1과 AD2와의 2개로 되어 있는데 1개의 헤더부에 3개 이상의 어드레스 정보가 기록되는 경우에도 이 발명은 적용 가능하다.
또한, 상술한 예는 광 자기 디스크의 어드레스 정보 검출에 적용한 경우인데 이 발명은 광 자기 디스크에 한하지 않으며 다른 자기 디스크 기록 매체의 어드레스 정보 검출에 적용할 수 있다.
이상 같이 이 발명에 의하면 각 섹터의 헤더 일부에 어드레스 마크와 어드레스 정보가 복수 기록되는 자기 디스크 기록 매체의 어드레스 정보 검출 장치에서 헤더 일부로부터 어드레스 마크를 검출하고 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치를 나타내는 선두 위치 검출 신호를 출력하는 어드레스 정보 인식 수단과 상기 종료 위치 신호에 의거해서 상기 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치로부터 후속하는 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치까지의 소정의 바이트 수를 계수하고 상기 선두 위치의 예상 위치에서 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호를 어드레스 정보 인식 수단에 공급하는 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단을 구비하고 어드레스 정보 인식 수단은 어드레스 마크 검출 수단으로부터 선두 위치 검출 신호가 공급되지 않는 경우는 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단으로부터 공급되는 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호에 따라서 어드레스 정보를 추출하고 인식하게 구성했으므로 후술하는 어드레스 정보에 대응하는 어드레스 마크부에 결함이 있어도 선행하는 어드레스 정보 및 후속하는 어드레스 정보에 결함이 없으면 후속하는 어드레스 정보를 추출하고 인식할 수 있으며 어드레스 정보의 인식 능력이 향상된 어드레스 정보 검출 장치를 실현할 수 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 각 섹터의 헤더 일부에 어드레스 마크와 어드레스 정보가 복수 기록되는 자기 디스크 기록 매체의 어드레스 정보 검출 장치에 있어서, 헤더 일부로부터 어드레스 마크를 검출하고 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치를 나타내는 선두 위치 검출 신호를 출력하는 어드레스 마크 검출 수단과, 상기 선두 위치 검출 신호에 의거해서 어드레스 정보를 추출하고 인식하고, 이 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치를 나타내는 종료 위치 신호를 출력하는 어드레스 정보 인식 수단과, 상기 종료 위치 신호에 의거해서 상기 어드레스 정보의 종료 위치로부터 후술하는 어드레스 정보의 선두 위치까지의 소정의 바이트 수를 계수하고 상기 선두 위치의 예상 위치에서 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호를 어드레스 정보 인식 수단에 공급하는 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단을 구비하며 어드레스 정보 인식 수단은 어드레스 마크 검출 수단으로부터 선두 위치 검출 신호가 공급되지 않는 경우엔 인식 개시 신호 발생 수단으로부터 공급되는 어드레스 정보 인식 개시 신호에 따라서 어드레스 정보를 추출하고 인식하게 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 디스크 기록 매체의 어드레스 정보 검출 장치.
