Claims (9)
- 고강도 마그네시아 알루미노실리케이트 유리섬유와, 포름알데히드와 페놀을 1:1 이상 1.5:1 이하의 몰비율로 반응시켜 만들어진 부분 응축된 또한 더 응축될 수 있는 페놀 포름알데히드 레졸반응 생성물을 포함하며, 상기 시이트 성형 화합물은 원하는 두께의 유리섬유 복합재로 되고, 이 복합재의 두께가 12.8㎜(1/2인치)이면 면적밀도는 22.0㎏/㎡(4.5 lb/ft2) 내지 25.4㎏/㎡(5.2lb/ft2)이 되며, 또한 보호탄도한계치인 V50값은, 44 입자강 0.30 캘리버 단편 모의 투사기로 시험할 때 727m/sec(2,400ft/sec)를 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시이트 성형 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알코올이 들어있지 않으며 3 중량퍼센트 까지의 물을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시이트 성형 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유리섬유는, 복합재에서 탄도성을 유지하고 또한 압축 및 진공백 성형조건하에서, 경화, 섬유방향성 또한 복잡한 형상에 대한 섬유 적합성을 갖게 되는 직물 또는 매트인 것을 특징으로 하는 시이트 성형 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유리섬유는 직조 조방사 직물인 것을 특징으로 하는 시이트 성형 화합물.
- 경화 페놀 포름알데히드 레졸수지 매트릭스에 있는 다수의 고강도 마그네시아 알루미노실리케이트 유리섬유의 층으로 구성되고, 포집된 수증기가 없으며, 적당한 두께를 갖고 그 두께가 12.8㎜(1/2인치) 이면 면적밀도는 22.0㎏/㎡(4.5 lb/ft2) 내지 25.4㎏/㎡(5.2 lb/ft2)이고, 보호탄도한계치인 V50값은, 44 입자강 0.30 캘리버 단편 모의 투사기로 시험할 때 727m/sec(2400ft/sec)을 초과하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄도저항성 유리섬유 복합재.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 유리섬유는 복합재에서 탄도성을 유지하고, 또한 압축 및 진공백 성형조건하에서 고형화, 섬유방향성 또한 복잡한 형상에 대한 섬유 적합성을 갖게 되는 직물 또는 매트인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄도저항성 유리섬유 복합재.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 유리섬유는 직조 조방사 직물인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄도저항성 유리섬유 복합재.
- 고강도 마그네시아 알루미노실리케이트 유리섬유 및, 포름알데히드와 페놀을 1 : 1 이상 또한 1.5 : 1 이하의 몰비율로 반응시켜 부분 응축된 또한 더 응축될 수 있는 페놀 포름알데히드 레졸반응 생성물을 포함하는 시이트 성형 화합물을 제조하는 단계와, 다수의 상기 시이트를 압축 몰드내에 적층하는 단계와, 상기 시이트를 온도와 압력을 높여 그 온도 및 압력에서 시이트를 충분히 긴 시간동안 유지시켜 페놀 포름알데히드 반응 생성물을 완전히 중축합 및 경화시켜 원하는 두께로 탄도저항성 복합재를 형성하는 단계로서, 이 복합재가 12.8㎜(1/2인치)의 두께를 가지면 그의 면적밀도는 22.0㎏/㎡(4.5 lb/ft2) 내지 25.4㎏/㎡(5.2 lb/ft2)이고, 보호탄도한계치인 V50값은, 44 입자강 0.30 캘리버 단편모의 투사기로 시험할 때 727m/sec(2400ft/sec)을 초과하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄도저항성 유리섬유 복합재의 제조방법.
