Claims (11)
- 전송광이 입사되며, 플라스틱 클래드 광섬유 또는 플라스틱 광섬유 중 어느 하나로 구성되는 제1광섬유; 전송광이 출력되며, 플라스틱 클래드 광섬유 또는 플라스틱 광섬유 중 어느 하나로 구성되는 제2광섬유; 상기 제1광섬유와 상기 제2광섬유 사이에 위치하여 상기 광섬유들 간에 광신호를 수지 또는 폴리머를 포함하는 광전송매질을 통하여 전송하며, 상기 각 광섬유와 접하는 면의 단면적이 각 접하는 광섬유 코아의 단면적보다 큰 코아확장소자; 및 내부에 상기 제1 및 제2 광섬유, 그리고 상기 코아확장소자가 위치하며, 상기 코아확장소자를 통하여 광이 전송될 수 있도록 광경로를 형성하는 채널형전송로를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광전송매질 수지는 굴절율이 1.40 내지 1.60을 갖는 물질임을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 채널형전송로는 굴절율이 상기 코아확장소자보다 0.02 내지 0.002 작으면서 굴절율이 조절가능한 단수 또는 복수(복합)의 물질로 구성된 수지를 경화하여 이루어진 것임을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 채널형전송로는 주형 기술에 의해 만들어진 것을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 채널형전송로는 그 단면이 둥근형태, 사각형태 또는 계단형태 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1광섬유 및 제2광섬유를 정렬시키며, 채널형전송로위에 놓여지는 덮개를 더 구비하며, 상기 덮개는 굴절율이 상기 코아확장소자보다 0.02 내지 0.002 작으면서 굴절율이 조절가능한 단수 또는 복수(복합) 물질로 구성된 수지를 경화하여 이루어진 자외선영역 및 가시영역에서 광 투명한 것을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 채널형전송로위에 위치하며, 상기 제1광섬유 또는 제2광섬유가 놓여 상기 제1광섬유 또는 제2광섬유가 자발적으로 자기배열이 가능하도록 U형태 또는 V형태의 그루브를 더 구비함을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1광섬유 또는 제2광섬유 양단에 연결되는, 플러그 및 어댑터로 구성된 광커넥터를 더 구비함을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 광커넥터의 플러그는 전송광이 입사되는 플라스틱 클래드 광섬유 또는 플라스틱 광섬유; 상기 광섬유를 보호하고 있는 외피; 상기 외피를 고정해주는 몸체; 및 상기 어댑터와 결합시켜주는 연결부를 포함하고, 상기 광커넥터의 플러그는 상기 플러그를 결합할 수 있는 잠금장치를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 플라스틱 클래드 광섬유 또는 플라스틱 광섬유 중 어느 하나로 구성되는 제1광섬유; 플라스틱 클래드 광섬유 또는 플라스틱 광섬유 중 어느 하나로 구성되는 제2광섬유; 플라스틱 클래드 광섬유 또는 플라스틱 광섬유 중 어느 하나로 구성되는 제3광섬유; Y형태를 하며, 상기 Y형태의 일단은 상기 제1광섬유와 접하고, 다른 두 개의 상기 제2광섬유와 상기 제3광섬유에 각각 접하며, 상기 광섬유들 간에 광신호를 수지 또는 폴리머를 포함하는 광전송매질을 통하여 전송하며, 상기 각 광섬유와 접하는 면의 단면적이 각 접하는 광섬유 코아의 단면적보다 큰 코아확장소자; 및 내부에 상기 제1, 제2 및 제3광섬유, 그리고 상기 코아확장소자가 위치하며, 상기 코아확장소자를 통하여 광이 전송될 수 있도록 광경로를 형성하는 채널형전송로를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 광전송매질 수지는 굴절율이 1.40 내지 1.60을 갖는 물질임을 특징으로 하는 다중모드 광커플러.
