Claims (3)
- 입체감을 느낄 수 있도록 좌우 영상이 하나의 영상으로 조합된 스테레오 그래픽의 어드레스를 프레임 버퍼로 발생하기 위한 3차원 그리기 회로에 있어서: 상기 좌우 영상 각각에 대한 X축 어드레스, Y축 어드레스, 그리고 Z축 어드레스를 발생하는 3차원 함수 발생기(80)와; 상기 3차원 함수 발생기(80)로부터 상기 Z축 어드레스를 입력받아 3차원 시차를 발생하는 논리연산기(92)와; 상기 논리연산기(92)로부터 발생되는 상기 3차원 시차와, 상기 3차원 함수 발생기(80)로부터 발생되는 상기 X축 어드레스를 입력받아, 이에 대응되는 보정 X축 어드레스를 출력하는 어드레스 보정부(90)와; 상기 어드레스 보정부(90)로부터 발생되는 상기 보정 X축 어드레스와, 상기 3차원 함수 발생기(80)로부터 발생되는 상기 X축 어드레스를 받아들이고, 외부로부터 인가되는 제어신호에 응답해서 상기 보정 X축 어드레스와 상기 X축 어드레스 중 어느 하나를 선택적으로 출력하는 어드레스 선택부(100); 그리고 상기 3차원 함수 발생기(80)로부터 발생되는 상기 Y축 어드레스, 그리고 상기 멀티플렉서(100)로부터 출력되는 상기 X축 어드레스 또는 상기 보정 X축 어드레스에 응답해서 선형 어드레스를 발생하고 이를 상기 프레임 버퍼로 제공하는 프레임 버퍼 어드레스 발생기(110)를 포함하되, 상기 논리연산기(92)로부터 발생되는 3차원 시차는, 3차원 함수 발생기에서 발생되는 Z축 정보에 응답해서 삼각형의 비례 공식에 의해 계산되는 실제적인 시차정보인 것을 특징으로 하는 3차원 시차 그리기 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프레임 버퍼는 상기 프레임 버퍼 어드레스 발생기(110)로부터 발생되는 상기 선형 어드레스에 응답해서 상기 스테레오 그래픽을 디스플레이 장치로 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 3차원 시차 그리기 장치.
- 액정 디스플레이 셔터 기술을 통해 입체감을 느낄 수 있도록 좌우 영상이 하나의 영상으로 조합된 스테레오 그래픽을 발생하기 위한 방법에 있어서: 입체감을 줘야 하는 스테레오 모드인가를 판별하는 단계(S10)와; 스테레오 모드로 판별된 경우, Y축 수직선이 X축 스캔 라인에 시차를 줘야 하는 수직선인가를 판별하는 단계(S20)와; Y축 수직선이 X축 스캔 라인에 시차를 줘야 하는 수직선으로 판별된 경우, X축 어드레스와 제1보정 X축 어드레스를 가산한 제2보정 X축 어드레스를 X축 어드레스로 변환시키는 단계(S30)와; 상기의 단계(S10)에서 스테레오 모드가 아닌 경우와, 단계 S20에서 Y축 수직선이 X축 스캔 라인에 시차를 줘야 하는 수직선이 아닌 경우에 대해 X축 어드레스를 보정하지 않고 그대로 출력하는 단계(S40)와; 상기 단계 S30의 제2보정 X축 어드레스와 상기 단계 S40의 X축 어드레스 중 어느 하나의 어드레스와, Y축 어드레스로 된 2차원 어드레스가 생성되는 단계(S50); 그리고 상기의 2차원 어드레스를 1차원 선형 어드레스로 변환시켜 프레임 버퍼 어드레스를 발생시키는 단계(S60)를 포함하되, 상기 제1보정 X축 어드레스는, 3차원 함수 발생기에서는 발생되는 Z축 정보에 응답해서 삼각형의 비례 공식에 의해 계산되는 실제적인 시차정보인 것을 특징으로 하는 3차원 시차 그리기 방법.
