Description
Claims (12)
- 각각의 끝면으로 부터 축선방향으로 뻗어있는 밀봉비드(22,26)를 갖춘 대향 원형끝면(20,24)을 지지하며 축선방향으로 일직선 정렬되게 위치된 원통형 끝부를 구비한 제1및 제2커플링 요소(14,12)와, 이 끝면을 그 사이에 위치된 원형의 편평한 금속 개스킷(32)과 밀봉맞물림 하도록 이동시키기 위한 너트부재(18)를 포함하고 있는 표면밀봉 튜브커플링에 있어서, 개스킷(32)을 끝면(20,24)과 일직선 정렬되게 유지시키기 위한 개스킷 리테이너(40)를 구비하되, 상기 개스킷 리테이너(40)는 정대향으로 축선방향으로 뻗어있고 개스킷(32)의 외면(36)에 위치하고 탄성적이며 상호간에 반경방향 안쪽으로 가압되어 정대향 위치에서 상기 커플링 요소(14,12)중 하나의 원통형 끝부를 반경방향 안쪽의 파지력으로 맞물리게 하는 적어도 한쌍의 지지부(42,44)를 포함하며, 그리고 상기 개스킷 리테이너(40)는 지지부(42,44) 사이에서 개스킷의 적어도 한측면을 따라 전부 개방되어 개스킷 리테이너(40)와 개스킷(32)이 반경방향으로 상기 커플링 요소(14,12)중 하나상의 위치로 이동되도록하여 개스킷 리테이너(40) 및 개스킷(32)의 설치와 제거를 허용하며, 동시에 밀봉비드(22,26)가 개스킷(32)의 두께와 동일한 거리만큼만 상호간에 이격된 상태로 커플링 요소(14,12)가 축선방향으로 일직선 정렬되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제1항에 있어서, 개스킷 리테이너(40)는 개스킷(32)과 일체로 형성되며, 축선방향으로 뻗어있는 지지부(42,44)는 개스킷(32)에 연결되어 그로부터 축선방향으로 뻗어있는 별개의 레그부재를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제1항에 있어서, 개스킷 리테이너(40)는 C-형상체이며, 이 C-형상체의 양끝사이의 중간지점에서 개스킷에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제1항에 있어서, 개스킷 리테이너(40)에는 개스킷(32)에 탄성적으로 고정하기위한 수단이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 축선방향으로 일직선 정렬되게 위치된 밀봉끝면(20,24)을 지지하는 원통형 끝부를 갖춘 제1및 제2커플링 요소(14,12)와, 밀봉끝면(20,24)을 그 사이에 위치된 원형의 편평한 금속개스킷(32)과 밀봉맞물림하도록 이동시키기 위한 체결수단을 포함하고 있는 유체 커플링에 있어서, 개스킷(32)을 밀봉끝면(20,24)과 일직선 정렬되게 위치시켜 유지하는 리테이너수단(40)으로서, 밀봉끝면(20,24)이 개스킷의 두께와 동일한 거리만큼 이격된 상태로 개스킷(32)및 리테이너 수단(40)의 측방향 삽입과 제거를 허용하기 위한 리테이너 수단(40)을 구비하되, 상기 리테이너 수단(40)은 개스킷(32)에 연결되며 이로부터 제1커플링 요소(14)의 원통형 끝부의 정대향 측면상의 위치에서 밀봉끝면(20,24)에 수직방향으로 뻗어있는 한쌍의 맞물림부(42,44)를 포함하며, 상기 맞물림부(42,44)는 개스킷(32) 및 리테이너 수단(40)을 제위치에 유지시키기 위하여 파지부가 제1커플링 요소(14)의 원통형 끝부를 파지하도록 하는 가압수단을 포함하고, 상기 리테이너 수단(40)은 개스킷(32)의 원주 둘레로 180。 보다 약간 작게 전체적으로 개방되어 방해되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제5항에 있어서, 리테이너 수단(40)은 개스킷(32)과 일체로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제5항에 있어서, 파지부(42,44)는 제1커플링요소(14)의 원통형 끝부의 바깥쪽 표면에 맞게 치수가 정해진 오목한 파지면을 갖추어 제1커플링요소(14)의 원통형 끝부의 아치부의 위에 맞물리는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제7항에 있어서, 오목한 파지면(42,44)은 개스킷(32)과 일체로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제7항에 있어서, 각각의 오목한 파지면(42,44)은 별개의 연결부에 의해 개스킷(32)에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제7항에 있어서, 오목한 파지면(42,44)은 단일 연결부(48)에 의해 개스킷에 연결되며, 개스킷(32)은 원형의 외면을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
- 제10항에 있어서, 오목한 파지면(42',44')은 개스킷(32')의 외면에 인접하게 위치한 단일의 C-형상부재에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 커플링.
