Abstract
본 발명은 계면활성제로서 아실 이세티오네이트 및 단단한 특성을 주는 첨가제로서 베헤닐 락틸레이트염을 포함하는 토일레트 바아 형태의 세정 조성물에 관한 것이다. 부가적으로, 상기 조성물은 광물유, 글리세린 및 실리콘유의 습윤제 혼합물을 포함할 수 있다. 명세서에 개시된 토일레트 바아는 으깨짐 및 마모 특성이 개선되었다.
Description
본 발명은 계면활성제로서 아실 이세티오네이트를 함유하는 피부 세정 조성물, 특히 토일레트 바아(toilet bar) 형태의 조성물에 관한 것이다.
일상 생활에서 손을 자주 씻게 되는데, 보통은 세정 조성물을 사용한다. 이렇게 자주 사용함으로써 세정제에 있어서 중요한 요구 사항이 있게 된다. 단순히 세정 효과를 주는 것만으로는 불충분한 것이다. 조성물은 피부에 자극을 거의 주지 않거나 또는 전혀 주지 않을 정도로 피부에 맞아야 하며, 자연적인 피부 지방을 보존시켜야 하며, 또한 피부를 불쾌하게 당기게 하는 건조감을 주지 않아야 한다. 종래의 비누들, 즉 알칼리 금속 지방산은 상기 요건들을 만족시키지 못했다.
합성 세제는 널리 알려져 있고, 점차적으로 대중화되었다. 선택된 합성 세제 형태는 비누보다는 상당히 순한 것으로 판명되었으나 다른 특성면에서는 개선되지 않았다. 때로는 거품성이 불량하다. 토일레트 바아 형태일 경우, 좀 더 대중적이고 순한 합성 세제는 바아가 연화되어 으깨지고(mush) 지나치게 마모되는 바람직하지 않은 성질들을 나타낸다. 또한 합성 세제 기재 바아의 제조상의 어려움도 종종 밝혀진다.
아실 이세티오네이트는 토일레트 바아 범주 내의 합성 세제 중에서 우선적으로 선택되어 졌다. 토일레트 바아의 주성분으로서 비누보다 훨씬 순하고 특별한 거품을 제공하는 소듐 코코일 이세티오네이트를 함유하는 토일레트 바아는 시판되고 있다. 그러한 합성물 기재 토일레트 바아는 미국 특허 제2,894,912호(가이츠), 미국 특허 제3,879,309호 (가티 등), 미국 특허 제3,951,842호 (프린스 등), 미국 특허 제4,180,470호(토코쉬 등) 및 미국 특허 제4,260,507호(바레트)에 개시되어 있다. 미국 특허 제4,198,311호(프란스 등)에는 수세 및 건조에 따른 비오일성(non-oiliness), 실크성(silkiness), 매끄러움(smoothness) 및 비분말상(non-powdery) 느낌과 같은 피부 컨디셔닝 성질을 달성하기 위해, 최소한 1%의 소듐 이소스테아릴 락틸레이트를 사용함으로써 소듐 코코일 이세티오네이트 토일레트 바아를 향상시키는 것이 개시되어 있다.
베헨산과 같은 첨가제를 사용하여 바아의 견고성을 향상시키는 방법이 미국 특허 제5,262,079호(카쳐 등)에 기재되어 있다.
미국 특허 제4,695,395호(카스웰 등)에 개시된 것처럼, 아실 이세티오네이트를 다량의 비누와 혼합시켜 으깨짐/마모를 저하시켰다. 으깨짐/마모성이 급격히 향상되는 반면 순도(mildness)는 약간 손상될 뿐이다.
아실 이세티오네이트는 앞에서 언급한 것처럼 순한 계면활성제이다. 특정 형태의 첨가제는 순도를 소위 말하는 울트라 영역까지 증가시키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 예를 들면, 미국 특허 제4,673,525호(스몰 당)에서는 특정한 소듐 아실 락틸레이트와 같은 습윤제, 및 양이온성 폴리머와 같은 고분자 피부 감촉 보조제를 혼입하였다. 상기 첨가제의 혼입은 종종 바아의 견고성에 부작용을 미칠 수 있다. 견고성을 손상시키지 않으면서 최고 수준의 순도를 나타내는 아실 이세티오네이트 계면활성제를 기재로 한 토일레트 바아를 얻는 것이 바람직하다.
이제 본 발명에 의해서야, 주성분 계면활성제로서 아실 이세티오네이트를 함유하고, 피부에 순하며, 견고하고, 락틸레이트염을 함유시킴으로써 습윤성 및 거품성을 발현하는 토일레트 바아를 제공할 수 있다는 것이 밝혀졌다.
따라서, 본 발명은
(i) 베헤닐 락틸레이트염 0.01 내지 0.8중량%; 및
(ii) C8-C22아실 이세티오네이트 10 내지 90중량%
를 함유하는 세정 조성물에 관한 것이다.
베헤닐 락틸레이트염은 순도, 습윤성, 항균 활성을 향상시키고, 가장 중요하게는 아실 이세티오네이트를 함유하는 토일레트 바아에 견고성을 부여하도록 상기 조성물에 존재한다. 유리하게는, 상기 조성물에 소량의 실리콘유, 글리세린 및 광유를 혼입하여 더 개선시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 조성물은 바람직하게는 베헤닐 락틸레이트염 0.1 내지 0.6중량%, 최적으로는 0.2 내지 0.4중량%를 함유할 것이다. 바람직한 염은 알칼리 금속, 알칼리 토금속, 암모늄 및 C2-C12알칸올 암모늄염이다. 가장 바람직한 것은 소듐 베헤닐 락틸레이트이다. 이 물질은 RITA 코포레이션의 C.J. 패터슨 그룹으로부터 상업적으로 입수할 수 있다.
베헤닐 락틸레이트염이 필수적인 반면, C6-C18아실 락틸레이트염을 함유하는 보다 저분자량의 락틸레이트염은 또한 유용할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 소듐 라우릴 락틸레이트는 약 0.01 내지 약 0.8중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.1 내지 0.6중량%, 최적으로는 약 0.2 내지 0.4중량%의 양으로 존재할 수 있다. 특히 효과적인 것은 배합비가 중량 기준으로 약 10:1 내지 1:10, 바람직하게는 약 2:1 내지 약 1:2, 최적으로는 약 1:1인 베헤닐 락틸레이트염과 라우릴 락틸레이트염의 배합물이다.
아실 이세티오네이트는 본 발명에 따른 조성물의 결정적인 제2요소이다. 상기 아실 이세티오네이트는 다음과 같은 화학식으로 정의될 수 있다.
상기 식에서, R은 6 내지 22개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 지방족 라디칼 또는 지방족 라디칼의 혼합물이고, M은 알칼리 금속 양이온, 예를 들면 나트륨, 칼륨, 암모늄 또는 C2-C10알칸을 암모늄 양이온이다. 본 발명에 따른 한 실시태양에서, R 라디칼의 75% 이상은 12 내지 18개의 탄소 원자를 가져야 하고 최고 25%까지는 8 내지 10개의 탄소 원자를 가져야 한다. 나트륨염은 칼륨염보다 어느 정도 난수용성이고, 좀더 견고한 바아를 제공한다. 칼륨염은 더 좋은 거품성 및 더 좋은 감촉을 갖는 바아를 생산하지만, 제조하기는 더욱 어렵다.
아실 이세티오네이트는 일반적으로 조성물의 약 10 내지 90중량%, 바람직하게는 약 30 내지 80중량%, 최적으로는 약 45 내지 65중량%의 양으로 존재하는 주성분 계면활성제일 것이다.
거품을 증진시키기 위한 추가의 계면활성제는 또한 본 발명에 따른 조성물에 혼입될 수 있다. 비누는 이런 목적에 특히 적합하다. 비누란 용어는 본원에서 통상의 의미, 즉 알칸- 또는 알켄 모노카르복실산의 알칼리 금속 또는 알칸올 암모늄염으로 사용된다. 나트륨 비누가 가장 바람직하다. 모노카르복실산의 사슬 길이는 약 12 내지 22개의 탄소 원자, 바람직하게는 약 12 내지 약 18개의 탄소 원자일 수 있다. 각각 약 85%의 코코넛유 및 약 15%의 수지(tallow)의 지방산 분포, 가장 특히는 82:18 혼합물을 갖는 비누가 가장 효과적이다.
비누의 양은 약 1 내지 약 15중량%, 바람직하게는 약 5 내지 약 15중량%, 최적으로는 약 9 내지 약 13중량%일 수 있다.
다른 합성 세제는 또한 추가의 거품 증강제로서 사용될 수 있다. 이런 세제는 알칼리 금속, 알칼리 토금속 또는 다음과 같은 물질의 암모늄염으로부터 선택될 수 있다.
C12-C16히드록시알칸 술포네이트,
C8-C18아실 타우리네이트,
C12-C18알킬 술페이트,
C12-C18알킬 에테르 술페이트,
C12-C16알킬 포스포네이트 및 포스페이트,
C12-C16모노-알킬 숙시네이트 및 말레에이트,
C6-C14디알킬술포숙시네이트,
C16-C20알칸 디술포네이트, 및
C8-C18알켄 술포네이트.
부가적인 합성 세제의 양은 약 0.5 내지 약 20중량%, 바람직하게는 약 1 내지 약 5중량%일 수 있다.
탄소 원자수 8 내지 22의 유리 지방산이 본 발명의 조성물에 혼입되는 것은 바람직하다. 상기 지방산의 일부는 과지방성 성분으로서 작용하고 나머지는 피부 감촉제 및 크림질(creaminess) 증강제로 작용하도록 존재한다. 과지방성 성분은 거품성을 증강시키며, 조성물의 25 중량% 이하의 양의, 8 내지 18개의 탄소 원자, 바람직하게는 10 내지 16개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 지방산으로부터 선택될 수 있다. 피부 감촉 및 크림질 증강제로서, 가장 중요한 스테아르산은 또한 상기 조성물내에서 존재하는 것이 바람직하다. 유리 지방산의 양은 약 5 내지 약 25중량%, 바람직하게는 약 10 내지 약 20중량%, 최적으로는 약 16 내지 약 19중량%일 수 있다.
무기염 형태의 전해질은 본 발명에 따른 조성물내에 포함될 수 있다. 상기 전해질은 가소성, 으깨짐 및 마모의 저하를 돕도록 존재한다. 이런 목적에 유용한 것은 황산나트륨, 염화나트륨 및 이들의 혼합물이다. 이들 물질 각각의 양은 약 2 내지 약 10중량%, 바람직하게는 약 4 내지 약 8중량%일 수 있다.
습윤제는 0.1 내지 10중량%의 양으로 본 발명의 조성물에 혼입될 수 있다. 특히 이 목적으로 적합한 것은 글리세린, 광유 및 실리콘유(특히, 디메티콘)의 배합물이다. 글리세린의 양은 약 0.1 내지 약 5중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.5 내지 약 2중량%, 최적으로는 약 0.6 내지 약 1.2중량% 일 수 있다. 광유는 약 0.1 내지 약2중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.05 내지 약 0.5중량%, 최적으로는 약 0.1 내지 약 0.3중량%일 수 있다. 실리콘유는 약 0.1 내지 약 0.5중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.02 내지 약 0.1중량%로 존재할 수 있다. 글리세린, 광유 및 실리콘 형태의 습윤제의 총량은 약 0.2 내지 약 2중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.8 내지 약 1.5중량%, 최적으로는 약 1중량%일 것이다.
또한 물도 본 발명에 따른 조성물에 존재할 것이다. 물의 양은 약 1 내지 약 10중량%, 바람직하게는 약 2 내지 약 8중량%, 최적으로는 약 3 내지 약 6중량%일 것이다.
소수의 기능성 재료는 또한 본 발명에 따른 조성물내에 포함될 수 있다. 이들은 약 0.1 내지 약 0.5중량%의 양으로 존재하는 이산화티탄과 같은 유백제,약 0.5 내지 약 2중량%로 존재하는 2,4,4'-트리클로로-2'-히드록시 디페닐 에테르(Irgasan DP-300이라는 상품명으로 시판됨)와 같은 살균제, 약 0.5 내지 약 1.5중량%로 존재하는 향료 및 바람직한 색상을 제공하기 위하여 효과적인 양으로 존재하는 착색제를 포함할 수 있따.
다음의 실시예에서는 본 발명의 실시태양을 좀 더 충분히 예시할 것이다.
명세서 및 첨부되는 청구 범위에서 언급된 모든 부, 퍼센트 및 비율은 달리 언급되지 않는한 전체 조성물의 중량 기준으로 한 것이다.
다음의 조성물은 본 발명의 예시이다.
[실시예 2]
본 발명에 다른 조성물의 임상적인 효과를 인-샤워 워싱 조사법(In-Shower Washing Study)에 따라 평가하였다. 상기 조사법은 1.5분 동안(일정 시간에 작동하도록 장치한) 증기 샤워기에서(35-41) 연속적으로 각 바(n=5 바아/형태)로 손 씻기를 포함하였다. 여분의 물을 2회 털어버렸고 비누 그릇안의 바아를 교체하였다. 그 후 바아를 밤새도록 건조시켰다. 아침에, 세척 과정을 반복하였다. 3시간 후에, 세척을 다시 반복하였다. 그후 바아를 이틀째 밤새 건조시켰다. 아침에, 바아를 뒤집어 으깨진 부분(mush spot)의 면적()을 측정하였다. 으깨진 표면적의 퍼센트는 다음과 같이 계산하였다.
3개의 토일레트 바아를 평가하였다. D로 표시된 제1 바아는 락틸레이트, 광유, 글리세린 및 디메티콘이 없어진 실시예 1에서 언급했던 제조예1에서 따른 것이었다. DV 라고 표기된 제2테스트 바아는 조성이 D의 조성과 동일할 뿐만 아니라 습윤제 혼합물(광유/글리세린/디메티콘)도 함유하였다. DVAL로 표기된 최종바아는 0.25% 소듐 라우릴 락틸레이트및 0.25% 소듐 베헤닐 락틸레이트를 추가로 함유하는 것외에 DV 바아와 동일하였다. 으깨짐에 대한 결과는 다음 표에서 나타낸다.
으깨진 부분의 퍼센트가 좀 더 낮은 것이 더욱 바람직하다. 표로부터, 바아 DVAL이 대조용 바아 D 및 DV보다 좋은 결과(으깨진 정도가 상당히 낮음)를 나타내었다는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 표에서 보여진 바아 DV 및 DVAL 사이의 수치 차이는 통계적으로 의미있는 것이다.
[실시예 3]
소비자 패널 테스트는 D, DV 및 DVAL로 표기된 토일레트 바아(실시예 2에서 기술된 것과 같음)의 다양한 미적 성질을 평가하기 위해 실행되었다. 이 테스트에서, 앞에서 언급한 미용바의 용도를 위하여 선택된 18명의 여성 패널리스트들은 1주일 동안 그들의 정규 제품을 대체하여 테스트 바아를 평가하였다(맹검 및 코드시험). 평가 후에 질문서를 제출했다. 바아는 단항으로 평가되었고, 각각의 특성에 대해 무로부터 매우 좋음까지 등급을 매겼다. 결과는 다음 표에 나타낸다.
상기 표 각각에서, 사용하기에 지저분함의 범주를 제외하고는 숫자가 클수록 좋은것이다. 상기 모든 테스트 바아 중 가장 좋은 것은 DVAL 바아이다.
Claims (10)
- (i) 락틸레이트염; 및 (ii) 아실 이세티오네이트; 를 포함하며, (i)은 0.01 내지 0.8중량%의 양으로 존재하는 베헤닐 락틸레이트염이고, (ii)는 10 내지 90중량%의 양으로 존재하는 C8-C22아실 이세티오네이트인 것을 특징으로 하는 세정 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 아실 이세티오네이트가 소듐 코코일 아세티오네이트인 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, C6-C18아실 락틸레이트염 0.01 내지 0.8중량%를 더 함유하는 조성물.
- 제3항에 있어서, C6-C18아실 락틸레이트염이 소듐 라우릴 락틸레이트인 조성물.
- 제4항에 있어서, 베헤닐 락틸레이트염 대 소듐 라우릴 락틸레이트의 비가 10:1 내지 1:10인 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 베헤닐 락틸레이트염 대 소듐 라우릴 락틸레이트의 비가 2:1 내지 1:2인 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 0.1 내지 10중량%의 습윤제를 더 함유하는 조성물.
- 제7항에 있어서, 습윤제가 0.1 내지 2%의 광유, 0.1 내지 5%의 글리세린 및 0.1 내지 0.5%의 실리콘유를 포함하는 조성물.
- 제8항에 있어서, 글리세린 및 실리콘유가 50:1 내지 0.2:1의 중량비로 존재하며, 글리세린 및 실리콘유와 광물유의 배합물은 25:1 내지 0.04:1의 중량비로 존재하는 조성물.
- 제3항에 있어서, 베헤닐 락틸레이트염이 0.1 내지 0.4중량%의 양으로 존재하고, C6-C18아실 락틸레이트염은 0.1 내지 0.4중량%의 양으로 존재하는 라우릴 락틸레이트인 조성물.
