Claims (2)
- 비디오 신호의 로컬 콘트라스트 개선회로에 있어서, 상기 비디오 입력단(Vin)으로 비디오 신호가 입력되는 다음 식(1)과 같이 계산된 윈도우신호(W)와 상기 콘트라스트 향상을 위한 위치에 해당하는 중심샘플(x)을 발생하는 MxN윈도우 발생부(100)와,상기 MxN윈도우 발생부(100)에서 발생된 상기 윈도우 신호(W)를 저역통과 필터링하여 출력(m)하는 MxN저역통과필터(102)와, 상기 MxN 저역통과필터(102)의 출력(m)과 상기 MxN윈도우 발생부(100)의 중간라인 중심샘플(X)에서 차(x-m)를 계산하여 사람이 시각적으로 느끼는 로컬콘트라스트에 대응하는 신호를 발생하는 가산기(104)와, 상기 가산기(104)의 출력(x-m)을 절대값(│x-m│)으로 변환시켜 하이, 로우 콘트라스트를 가진 구역을 찾는 절대화회로(106)와, 상기 절대화회로(106)의 출력에 따라 가중치 f(│x-m│)를 출력하는 가중치기(108)와, 상기 가산기(104)의 출력(x-m)과 상기 가중치기(108)의 출력 f(│x-m│)을 승산 f(│x-m│).(x-m)하는 승산기(110)와, 상기 승산기(110)의 출력 f(│x-m│).(x-m)과 상기 MxN 윈도우 처리부(100)의 중간라인 중심샘플(x)을 더하여 [x + f(│x-m│)(x-m)] 로우 콘트라스트 영역에서 개선된 로컬 콘트라스트가 출력되며 상기 하이 콘트라스트 영역에서는 중심샘플(x)을 바이패스 시키는 가산기(112)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 신호의 로컬 콘트라스트 개선을 위한 회로.
- 제1항에 있어서, MxN윈도우 발생부(100)가 상기 비디오신호 입력단(Vin)으로 부터 라인간 구분하기 위해 지연하는 제1,2수평라인지연기(201,202)와, 상기 제1,2수평라인지연기(201,202)에 의해 구분되는 각 라인상의 픽셀간 지연하는 제1-n샘플링지연기(204-214)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 비디오 신호의 로컬 콘트라스트 개선을 위한 회로.
