Abstract

본 발명은 필라멘트를 사용하지 않은 방전식 전구를 사용하여 전구의 수명을 증대시킴은 물론 백색광 제공에 의한 야간운전시의 피로 감소및 빛의 조사거리 증대로 인한 야간시인성 확보로 안전성을 극대화시킬 수 있도록 한 차량용 헤드램프에 관한 것으로,아크 방전에 의하여 발광하는 방전식 전구(10),안정기(20),콘버터(30),전원스위치(40)등을 사용하여 24V의 전원을 12V로 다운시켜 아크방전에 의해 자연광에 가까운 백색광을 조사하게 한것이다.

Description

차량용 헤드램프
본 발명은 트럭이나 버스등의 차량용 헤드램프에 관한 것으로,특히 필라멘트를 사용하지 않는 방전식 전구를 사용하여 전구의 수명을 증대시킴은 물론 백색광 제공에 의한 야간운전시의 피로 감소및 빛의 조사거리 증대로 인한 야간시인성 확보로 안전성을 극대화시킬 수 있도록 한 것이다.
일반적으로 차량의 전방에는 헤드램프가 설치되어 있어 야간 운행시 전방을 비춰 전방시야를 확보하도록 하고 있으며,이와같은 헤드램프로는 통상 필라멘트가 있는 할로겐 전구를 사용하고 있다.
종래 헤드램프는 도 1에 도시된 바와같이 필라멘트에 의해 황색으로 발광하는 할로겐 전구(1)가 내장되고,이 할로겐 전구(1)와 전원(2)사이에 전원을 스위칭시킬 수 있는 전원스위치(3)가 구비되어 있다.
그러나,이와같은 종래 헤드램프에 있어서는,필라멘트가 있는 할로겐전구(1)를 이용하고 있기 때문에 전구의 수명이 단축되고,빛의 색깔이 황색이어서 야간 운행시 피로를 쉽게 주었으며,빛의 조사거리가 짧아서 야간운행시 안전성이 저하되는 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명 차량용 헤드램프는 이와같은 종래의 제반 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 안출한 것으로,헤드램프의 빛의 조사 성능을 한단계 향상시켜 야간 운행시 안전운행을 이룰수 있도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
이와같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 아크 방전에 의해 방전하는 방전구 전구와,상기 방전구 전구에 연결되어 안정된 빛의 밝기를 유지하도록 하는 안정기와,상기 안정기에 연결되어 24v의 전압을 12v로 다운시키는 콘버터와,전원이 상기 콘버터에 인가되는 것을 스위칭시키는 전원스위치를 포함하여 구성함을 특징으로 한다.

도 2는 본 발명의 구성도로,아크 방전에 의해 방전하는 방전구 전구(1)와,상기 방전구 전구(1)에 연결되어 안정된 빛의 밝기를 유지하도록 하는 안정기(20)와,상기 안정기(20)에 연결되어 24v의 전압을 12v로 다운시키는 콘버터(30)와,전원이 상기 콘버터(30)에 인가되는 것을 스위칭시키는 전원스위치(40)로 구성된다.
그리고 상기 안정기(20)는 전자제어로 상기 방전구 전구(1)를 순간 점등시키는 점화기(21)와,상기 점화기(21)와 콘버터(30)사이에 연결되어 빛이 흐릿해지지 않고 안정된 밝기를 유지하도록 하는 콘트롤 유니트(22)로 구성된다.
이와같이 구성된 본 발명은 야간운행시 운전자가 헤드램프를 동작시키기 위하여 전원스위치(40)를 온시키면,24v전원이 전원스위치(40)를 통하여 콘버터(30)에 인가되며,이렇게 인가된 24v는 콘버터(30)를 통하면서 12v로 다운된다.
또한,콘버터(30)를 통하여 출력되는 12v는 안정기(20)를 통하여 방전식 전구(10)에 인가되므로 아크(ARC)방전에 의해 발광된 백색광이 차량의 전방으로 조사된다.
이때,안정기(20)의 콘트롤 유니트(22)에서는 빛이 흐릿해지지 않고 안정된 밝기를 유지하도록 제어하게 되며,점화기(21)에 의해 전자제어로 순간 점등이 이루어지게 되는 것이다.
따라서,상기와 같은 본 발명에 의하면,필라멘트가 없이 아크 방전에 의해 방전식 전구(10)가 발광하므로 전구의 수명이 길어지며,방전식 전구(10)에 의해 발생되는 빛이 거의 자연광에 가까운 백색광이므로 야간 운행시 운전자의 피로를 감소시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 빛의 조사거리가 약 2배정도로 길어져 야간 시인성 확보로 안전성을 극대화시킬 수 있는 효과가 있는 것이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 아크 방전에 의해 방전하는 방전구 전구(1)와,상기 방전구 전구(1)에 연결되어 안정된 빛의 밝기를 유지하도록 하는 안정기(20)와,상기 안정기(20)에 연결되어 24v의 전압을 12v로 다운시키는 콘버터(30)와,전원이 상기 콘버터(30)에 인가되는 것을 스위칭시키는 전원스위치(40)를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 헤드램프.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 안정기(20)가,전자제어로 상기 방전구 전구(1)를 순간 점등시키는 점화기(21)와,상기 점화기(21)와 콘버터(30)사이에 연결되어 빛이 흐릿해지지 않고 안정된 밝기를 유지하도록 하는 콘트롤 유니트(22)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 헤드램프.
