Description
Claims (1)
- 블럭매칭 알고리즘을 이용하여 현재 프레임과 이전 프레임간의 움직임 벡터를 예측하는 방법에 있어서, 입력되는 현재 프레임에 대한 세그멘테이션을 행하며, 이로부터 어떤 물체가 어떤 영역에 존재하는지를 구분하여 이에 대한 정보를 제공하는 제1단계와; 상기 현재 프레임의 현재블럭(Bc)과 인접블럭(B1,B2,B3,B4)의 움직임 벡터를 추정하며, 상기 제1단계의 정보를 근거로 하여 현재블럭(Bc)과 인접블럭(B1,B2,B3,B4)중 동일 영역에 속하는 인접블럭의 움직임 벡터와 현재블럭(Bc)의 움직임 벡터간의 차분을 구하는 제2단계; 상기 비교 결과에 의한 차분이 기설정된 임계값보다 크면, 예측오차가 그 다음으로 큰 인접블럭의 움직임 벡터와 현재블럭(Bc)의 움직임 벡터간의 차분을 구하고, 이로부터 구한 차분이 기설정된 임계값보다 작아질때까지 상기 움직임 예측을 반복하는 제3단계; 상기 제3단계에 의해서 현재블럭(Bc)의 움직임 벡터와 인접블럭의 움직임 벡터간의 차분이 기설정된 임계값보다 작은 것으로 판정되면, 이 블럭의 움직임 벡터를 현재블럭의 움직임 벡터로서 선택하는 제4단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 영상부호기의 움직임벡터 선택방법.
