Claims (1)
- 현재 프레임과 이전 프레임에 의거하여 예측된 프레임를 검출하며, 상기 예측된 프레임과 입력되는 현재 프레임간의 차분신호를 근거로 하여 부호화하는 동영상 부호화 장치에 있어서; 상기 현재 프레임(n)과 이전 프레임(n-1)간에 의거하여 예측된 프레임(a)을 구현하고, 상기 현재 프레임(n)과 이 프레임보다 앞선 프레임(n+1)간에 의거하여 예측된 프레임(b)을 구현하여 이 구현된 각각의 프레임(a)(b)을 선택적으로 제공하는 움직임 예측부(207)와; 상기 움직임 예측부(207)로부터 제공되는 상기 예측된 프레임(a)을 저장 및 복원하여 출력하는 제1프레임 메모리(301)와; 상기 제1프레임 메모리(301)로부터 복원된 현재 및 이전 프레임간의 예측된 프레임(a)과 상기 움직임 예측부(207)로부터 제공되는 예측된 프레임(b)에 의거하여 간축된 프레임을 출력하는 제1움직임 예측부(302)와; 상기 제1움직임 예측부(302)에 의해 예측된 움직임 변위정보를 가변길이 부호화하는 제1VLC(303)를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 호환성을 갖는 동영상 부호화기.
