Claims (8)
- 크랭크 케이스(22)와, 증발기에 연결되는 흡기 유입구(24)와, 응축기에 연결되는 토출구(26)를 갖는 압축기 수단(10)에 있어서, 상기 흡기 유입구(24)에 연결되는 적어도 하나의 뱅크(12, 13)와, 상기 크랭크 케이스 및 상기 토출구에 연결되는 다른 뱅크(14,15)로 구성된 복수개의 뱅크와, 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크를 상기 크랭크 케이스 또는 상기 토출구에 선택적으로 연결하는 수단(50, 32, 33)을 포함하고, 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크가 상기 크랭크 케이스에 연결될 때 상기 다른 뱅크가 제2단으로서 작용하고, 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크가상기 토출구에 연결될 때 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크 및 상기 다른 뱅크가 병렬 1단 압축기로서 작용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축기 수단.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크가 상기 토출구에 연결될 때 상기 크랭크 케이스를 상기 흡기 유입구에 유체 연결하는 수단(24-2, 28)을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축기 수단.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크의 용량을 제어하는 수단(18; 38, 42, 43; 24-3, 24-4, 44, 45, 46, 47)을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축기 수단.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 용량 제어 수단은 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크를 선택적으로 바이패스시키는 수단(24-2, 28)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축기 수단.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 용량 제어 수단은 상기 흡기 유입구로부터 상기 적어도 하나의 뱅크로의 유동을 선택적으로 제어하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축기 수단.
- 3개의 뱅크와, 크랭크 케이스와, 증발기에 연결되는 흡기 유입구와, 응축기에 연결되는 토출구를 갖는 압축기를 작동시키는 방법에 있어서, 상기 흡기 유입구로부터 상기 3개의 뱅크 중 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크로 가스를 공급하는 단계와, 상기 크랭크 케이스로부터 상기 3개의 뱅크 중 제3 뱅크로 가스를 공급하는 단계와, 상기 제3 뱅크로부터 압축된 가스를 상기 토출구로 이송하는 단계와, 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크를 상기 크랭크 케이스 또는 상기 토출구에 선택적으로 연결하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크가 상기 크랭크 케이스에 연결될 때 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크가 제1단으로서 작용하고 상기 제3 뱅크가 제2단으로서 작용하고, 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크가 상기 토출구에 연결될 때 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크가 제1단으로서 작용하고 상기 제3 뱅크가 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크와 병렬인 제1단으로서 작용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크의 용량을 제어하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 크랭크 케이스 내의 압력을 감지하는 단계와, 상기 제1 뱅크 및 제2 뱅크를 상기 크랭크 케이스 또는 토출구에 선택적으로 연결하는 상기 단계를 제어하기 위해 감지된 압력을 사용하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
