Claims (3)
- 전기신호에 대응하는 광신호를 출력하기 위한 레이저 다이오드, 외부 회로에 광신호 출력을 전송하기 위한 광 섬유, 광신호 출력을 광섬유에 집증시키도록 하기 위해 상기 레이저 다이오드와 광섬유사이에 배치된 광집속 렌즈, 및 광집속 렌즈를 고정하기 위해 렌즈 하우징 홀을 갖는 L자 형태의 렌즈 고정대로 구성된 레이저 모듈에 있어서, 상기 렌즈 하우징 홀 내부에서 축방향으로 위치할 수 있도록 상기 렌즈 하우징 홀의 지름보다 작은 외경을 가지는 원통형으로 구성되어 상기 광집속렌즈를 하우징한 후, 상기 렌즈 고정대에 고정하기 위한 원통형 렌즈 하우징과, 상기 렌즈 하우징이 내부에 설치되도록 상기 렌즈 하우징의 외경보다 큰 지름을 갖는 고리모양의 부재로서, 웰딩되기 전에 상기 레이저 다이오드의 광축, 광집속 렌즈 및 광섬유가 정렬되도록 하고, 상기 렌즈 하우징과 그 렌즈 하우징 내에 위치한 광집속 렌즈를 렌즈 고정대에 고정시키기 위해 상기 렌즈 하우징의 외부 표면에 형성된 렌즈 링을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 모듈.
- 광신호를 출력하는 레이저 다이오드와, 외부 회로로 광신호 출력을 전송하기 위한 광섬유와, 상기 레이저 다이오드와 광섬유 사이에 배치되는 광집속 렌즈와, 상기 광집속 렌즈를 고정시키기 위한 렌즈 하우징 홀더를 갖는 렌즈 고정대와, 광집속 렌즈를 그 안에 하우징하는 렌즈 하우징과, 상기 렌즈 하우징의 외부 표면에 설치되는 렌즈 링으로 구성된 레이저 모듈 내에서 렌즈를 고정시키는 방법에 있어서, 상기 레이저 다이오드와 상기 광섬유 간에 최대의 광결합효율을 갖도록 상기 광집속 렌즈와 상기 광섬유간의 거리를 조절하여 고정한 후, 상기 광섬유로 출력되는 광신호의 크기가 최대가 되도록 상기 레이저 다이오드를 구동시키면서 상기 레이저 다이오드와 광집속 렌즈 상호간의 위치를 횡방향 및 종방향으로 정렬하는 제1단계; 최적 정렬 상태에서 상기 광집속 렌즈의 종방향을 고정시키기 위하여 상기 렌즈링을 렌즈 하우징에 레이저 웰딩하는 제2단계; 광섬유로 출력되는 광신호의 크기가 최대가 되도록 하기 위해 상기 광집속 렌즈의 종방향 위치가 고정된 상태에서 상기 레이저 다이오드와 광집속 렌즈 상호간의 위치를 횡방향으로 재정렬하는 제3단계; 광집속 렌즈의 횡방향을 고정시키기 위하여 상기 렌즈 링을 렌즈 고정대에 레이저 웰딩하는 제4단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 광집속 렌즈의 고정방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2단계는 상기 레이저 다이오드와 광집속 렌즈 상호간의 위치를 수평/수직 방향으로 정렬하는 제1단계가 수행된 후, 상기 렌즈링의 외부에서 상기 렌즈링으로 힘을 가하거나 잡지 않은 상태에서 레이저 웰딩을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광집속 렌즈의 고정방법.
