Claims (4)
- 총 단량체를 기준으로, 단량체 70% 이상을 분산제, 개시제 및 다른 첨가제의 존재하에 수성 현탁액 중에서 초기에 70중량% 이상의 전환율로 중합시킨 다음, 나머지 양의 단량체, 개시제 및 임의의 추가 첨가제를 1 내지 3시간 내에 계량주입함을 특징으로 하여, 단량체-가용성 유리 라디칼 개시제 및 분산제 존재하에 교반시키면서 수성 현탁액 중에서 스티렌 및 임의의 통상적인 공단량체를 중합시켜 발포성 스티렌 중합체를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 초기에 도입한 단량체를 120 내지 210분 동안(침강점까지) 중합시킨 다음, 잔류 단량체를 계량 주입함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 후속 계량된 단량체의 양이, 총 단량체를 기준으로, 10 내지 20중량% 임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 계량주입 속도를 잔류 단량체 함량이 항상 30중량% 이하가 되도록 선택함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
