Abstract
세탁기의 세제통에 세제의 유무를 감지하며 세제통의 열림 및 닫힘 상태를 감지하는 세제 감지장치를 갖는 세탁기에 관한 내용이 개시되어 있다. 세제통에 투입된 세제의 유무를 감지하고 세제통의 닫힘 상태를 감지하여 세제가 투입된 후에 세탁과정이 수행되도록 하기 위하여 세제통의 저면부에서 상면부에 걸쳐서 도체를 설치하고, 세제통하우징 상부에 도체의 상면부와 연결되는 탄성체를 설치하고, 세제통의 저면부에 위치한 도체와 소정의 간격을 두고 설치된 제2단자를 설치함으로서, 세제가 투입된 후에 만이 세탁과정이 수행되도록 할 수 있다. 그 결과 사용자가 세제통을 항상 열어서 세제통의 닫힘 및 열림 상태 그리고 세제의 유무를 확인하는 번거러움을 해소할 수 있다.Disclosed is a washing machine having a detergent detecting device for detecting the presence or absence of detergent in a detergent container of a washing machine and detecting an open and closed state of the detergent container.
