Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of oil mist, etc., generated from a screw mechanism section by installing a cover to the screw mechanism section for an injection molding machine driven by a servomotor. CONSTITUTION:An expansible cover 11 is set up between a rear platen 1, to which a screw 8 is axially mounted, and a nut 7 while one end is fixed on the rear platen 1 side and the other end on the nut 7 side. A screw mechanism including the screw 8 is concealed by the cover 11, and the scattering of oil mist, abrasion powder, etc., generated from the screw mechanism is prevented by the cover 11.
