Abstract
PURPOSE:To implement the low resistance of an electrode and to facilitate the lead-out of capacitance, by supporting a paper electrode on an aluminum foil, using the electrode as an active carbon electrode, and performing embossing or hole machining in the active carbon electrode from the side of the aluminum foil. CONSTITUTION:A paper electrode 1 is formed by mixing active carbon fiber and pulp fiber and by manufacturing the paper in a sheet shape. The electrode 1 is supported on an aluminum foil 2 as a current collector. Thus a polarizing electrode is constituted. Embossing or hole machining is performed in the polarizing electrode from the side of the aluminum foil 2. Thus, a through hole 3, on the inner surface of which a current collecting part 2a is formed is provided. Owing to the through hole 3, on the inner surface of which the current collecting part 2a is formed, the distance between the active carbon fiber 1a of the paper electrode 1 and the current collector becomes short, and the resistance at the electrode becomes small. The capacitance can be readily led out.
