Abstract
PURPOSE:To discriminate hitting probabilities at three stages or more, by arrang ing a plurality of photodetectors at large and small threshold levels in a moving body, and identifying a level pattern from the number of the photodetectors, which receive the lights at the large and small levels. CONSTITUTION:Light signals such as laser light from a light projector 1 reach a light receiving moving body such as aircraft as a pattern having expansions such as a level L1 and a level L2. Here, the level L1 shows a larger value than that of the level L2. A plurality of photodetectors 3-10, which detect the levels L1 and L2 as threshold levels, are arranged around the moving body 2. The outputs of the photodetectors 3-10 are connected to received optical-data judg ing device 13. In the identification device 13, the pattern is identified from the number of the photodetectors, which have received the levels L1 and L2. For example, when the L1 levels are three, a direct hit is identified. When the L1 levels are two, a half hit is identified. When the L1 level is one, near miss is identified. When L2 levels are two, miss hit is identified. Thus the hitting probabilities can be discriminated at three or more stages.
